Atop Thursday morning's 8 o'clock hour here, we talk once again to renowned academic Dr. Carol Swain -- who rejoins the show to offer her thoughts about DEI-related news stories, including here in Virginia, as Governor Youngkin and Democrat legislative leaders clash over equity-oriented college course offerings.

Atop the 8 o'clock hour this AM, we hear from our delightful Lieutenant Governor, Winsome Sears, from her regularly scheduled monthly segment! Principally, John and she discuss the ongoing budget wrangling between the parties on Capitol Square.
At the bottom of the 7 o'clock hour, John talks to Fox News anchor -- and his longtime friend -- Mike Emanuel. John and Mike review some of the latest headlines in the news, including Joe Biden's purported play for Florida in this year's Presidential election and Speaker Mike Johnson's attempts to stave off mutiny within his party caucus in Congress.
Hump Day has arrived! First up on the show this morning is Beth Vann-Turnbull, Executive Director of Housing Families First. She talks to John about the organization -- and its annual fundraiser, featuring local artists/art at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, on Thursday, April 18.
Finally this morning, and for the latest installment of "Giving Tuesday," John talks to Dave Whiteside of the Central Virginia Football Officials Association. Dave tells John about the not-for-profit organization's need for more personnel as football season approaches.
At the bottom of the 8 o'clock hour this AM, we hear from longtime local political activist (and possible mayoral candidate??) Paul Goldman, who talks to John about the rising cost of Richmond's ballpark project.
