If you are building a rifle for the first time, upgrading your rifle, or building a new rifle with more use case focus, then at some point you'll have to wade through the sea of optics and accessory options. Having optics, and other specialized weapon mounted equipment that can endure heavy use reliably and support the "modern minuteman" is vital to the responsible citizen. Making the decision to invest into a quality equipment is already hard enough but that decision doesnt have to be uninformed.

In this episode Jacob and Stephen of Dynamic Defense Solutions are joined again by Brown Rocket Actual to discuss their experiences building AR platforms and the mounted equipment they recommend. They also talk about recommended manufacturers who make tried and proven optics as well as other speciality equipment.

MOA & MRAD do not technically correlate to yards and meters as they are meassurments based on an angle or a radius. However, MRAD for example can be better communicated to other tools using meters because it is still a 1/1000 standard.
