Rigged Game - Advantage Play, Blackjack, Card Counting, Slots, and Poker podcast

In this episode we start by reflecting on yesterday's activities. We are eager to get out to the casinos and make money. We play four different sessions of blackjack and five sessions of slot machines. At our third Casino we take a terrible dive and are down as much as $8,000 at one point. We are able to struggle hard to recoup some of the losses and we spend the rest of the day trying to get back to zero. This episode deals with the up and down emotions of card counting and playing advantage slots. It also deals with how and when to leave a casino. We also run into a dealer from a casino while gambling at that casinos competitor. We talked to him for a while and even play Blackjack together for a bit.

Today we visited six casinos. We were able to get four sessions of slots in and two sessions of blackjack. It's just one of those days where no matter what you do things don't line up the way you want. We visited multiple casinos today that were completely unplayable. We check on some must hit by jackpots and they are miles from being beatable. We play Blackjack in low limit because high limit is closed. We play high limit blackjack in another shop it can't get above $0. These are the days that test your patience. These are also the days that precede sessions where you get totally destroyed. I have to be careful the next couple days to keep a level head.

Today we had a good day. We counted cards at three casinos and one all three sessions. We played slots at 5 casinos and one four out of the five sessions. We got off to an early start on this Dr Martin Luther King Jr day. We were able to get in and out of all the casinos in a timely manner and without into any major binds. Overall we were in the right place at the right time and had variance on our side.

In this episode we leave home in some bad weather. Snow and freezing rain is falling as we head out for the day. Within a few hours the weather improves. We play at five casinos. My frustration level begins to rise at the first Casino and then I face the same situation at the second Casino. The only difference is at the second place I have bought in for $3,000 and I'm down $1,900 at this point. See what happens when I almost blow my stack.

We had a nice day today playing slot machines on two different occasions and playing some no limit poker. In the poker session we saw some wild swings. Far different than the normal smaller pots we normally play. We saw some hands that were over $2,000.

In this episode we wrap up the week. We expect a boring day as we had to leave the house later than expected. Instead, we got more excitement than we could handle. We played at five casinos including three sessions of blackjack. We had some ridiculous ups and downs. In the end we gave back some money.

We meet a bit boss who knows who I am, but we are able to convince him not to put me in the system.
