It was 1980 something, and we can all remember sitting down with our boom box and making that perfect KISS Mix Tape. You poured over it, you had to pick the right songs that expressed what this band means to you.... but each song had to fit just right on the tape. Maybe it was  your road trip tape, maybe it was the tape you gave your best friend, maybe it was the tape you gave that special someone, OR when someone would say KISS sucks and you said HELL NO!... LISTEN TO THIS! So we are going back in time and making a RBTE Mix tape just for you! Lets BANG this one out!

On a the fall of 2006, and 10 year old Nikko Caruso wanders into the family room and puts in his fathers KISSology Vo.1 DVD and pushes play. What comes on the screen changes his life. 1977's classic KISS concert The Summit live in Huston! Ace Frehley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss & Paul Stanley put on one of the classic shows of all time. This would be bootlegged for years and years before KISS themselves put it out in this three volume box set that came out in October of 2006. So lets go back in time to at least 2006 and pretend along with Nikko that it's 1977 and we are seeing one of the great KISS concerts for the first time!

Episode 6:

It's finally here!....(it is... at the time I'm writing this.. Aug, 17 2021) KISS is about to take the stage again after a 16 month stoppage due to the Corona Virus. To celebrate, Nick, Nikko, & Rob have some fun with the bands set list and make "realistic" song choices for  the KISS End of The Road set list. What "new songs" do they use, will the guys get any of the choices right? Who got the most correct, and who was dead wrong? If all goes according to plan, you'll know right away because this episode is released on Thursday morning August 19 2021. KISS just played last night on the 18th! Episode 5:

It was 1989 and KISS' Hot In The Shade had been released for a few months and would find its way into Rob's hand through a classmate, and Rob was off on his journey with band and his love for this album. 

On this episode Rob, Nick and Nikko review and dissect the Hot In The Sade album and go track by track. Rob talks how much he still loves the album and what it means to him, while Nick talks about this being a blind spot for him in bands career and Nikko hearing most of this album for the first time!

25 years ago in the summer of 1996 Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons reunited with Peter Criss and Ace Frehley for The Alive Worldwide Tour of 1996-1997. The idea of Ace and peter ever returning to the band was always met with a hard no from Paul and Gene. The 1995 MTV Unplugged performance changed all of that!
