Complaining. We all do it. At some time or another.
But the nation of Israel had taken it to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL during the period of the Exodus. They complained and murmured against Moses, against their circumstances, and fundamentally against God over and over and OVER again.
The other day, as I was reading the book of Numbers in my personal devotions, I came across one such passage of complaining in Numbers 11. Reading it, I was immediately convicted about my own complaining and critical spirit. I repented before God about it, knowing that, ultimately, my negativity displeased God. And the whole thing had me feel a "podcast coming on..."

If you have ever been excluded or misunderstood, especially by your loved ones, today's episode is FOR YOU.
Today we see how David was a nobody, overlooked by his father and others, but not by God, "For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7).
God's words to Samuel the prophet are instructive to ALL of us! We need to not judge things outwardly, rashly, with double standards, but rather with righteous judgment. As Jesus said in John 7:24, "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”
In today's episode, I offer a few points on having good, godly judgment and also on what we should be doing while we wait on God to fulfill His plans towards us!

An exciting new week for Rinse and Repeat as we embark on a brand new series - this one on the life of David!!
God said, "‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will'" (Acts 13:22b).
The question is, how can David, a man who lied, committed adultery, and murdered be called a man after God's own heart?
Join me as we answer this critical question on what is proving to be a life-changing study for me personally, here on Rinse and Repeat!!!

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." In John 15:5 Jesus declares Himself to be the vine, with each of us, His disciples, as the branches abiding in Him, and He in us.
What is the significance of Jesus being the TRUE vine? Why did God use the emblem of a vine, as opposed to something else? And what is the incredible importance of ABIDING in the life of a believer?
Join me as we answer these and other questions on today's episode of Rinse and Repeat, as our series on the I AM Statements of Jesus draws to a close!
