Our triggers give us insight into ourselves. We learn so much from our triggers. Use them to know who you are, use them to change hard-wired beliefs and what was programmed into you. When your internal landscape changes, that's when you manifest what you want in your external world.
We don't need to learn how to manifest what we want. Just look at our triggers. Triggers might be hard to deal with. But by confronting them, and looking into what caused you to be triggered, will bring you to major breakthroughs.
Triggers are things that people say, or things that happen to cause irritation, discomfort, sadness or anger in us. It’s normal for us to react instantly, and
Triggers are the best indicators of our mental and spiritual health. At the time that someone triggers us, yes, it can be difficult to remain calm. Our ego takes
When they say that your external circumstances reflect your internal state, it's hard to accept, but look at it this way: whatever people say or do that triggers you, therein lies a past trauma or hurt that you haven’t dealt with.
Here are some common root causes of triggers:
You were neglected, ignored, unheard, unseen, compared to your siblings, told that you weren't smart, plain looking, ridiculous, irresponsible, crazy, selfish, malicious, treated with disrespect and dehumanized.
If you can confront the root causes of your triggers, and tell yourself it isn't true, then you're at the beginning of healing yourself. That in itself will set a chain reaction to you knowing yourself better and becoming your own person. That's when manifestation will happen effortlessly.

One of the clearest signs of spiritual awakening is losing friends and family members (provided you haven't actually offended anyone). If you have been doing a lot of inner work like confronting your demons, clearing bad energy and elevating your soul's vibration or frequency, most people will not be able to relate to you any more.
Sometimes people avoid you because your new vibration level triggers them, and makes them feel uncomfortable. So, unless you've intentionally offended them, please don't worry or take this personally. It's not you. It's them not wanting to confront their own issues. Your mere presence highlights their unresolved issues and makes them feel bad about themselves.
Everyone gets opportunities to spiritually awaken, but many won’t even consider taking them. If you have embarked on this spiritual awakening journey, you are one of the few who have the courage and determination to play this long game. Sometimes it seems that there's no indication of light at the end of the tunnel. But I promise you, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t give up. You won’t regret a single moment of this journey.

Knowing your shadow self will lead you to the most powerful part of you. Parts that were suppressed or ridiculed by others, look into them.
The shadow self is created when someone condemns, ridicules or punishes a child for certain characteristics or traits. These are not necessarily bad traits. They're just characteristics or personality types that others don't like, don't agree with, don't understand, or even envy. Society also plays a part in shaming with judgment, prejudices and non-acceptance.
But here's the thing, in many cases, it's created by those that fear or envy those traits of yours. Carl Jung developed the concept of the shadow self, which is the part of every human being that contains everything that we repress about ourselves because we don’t like them or we were told that they were bad traits. So we deny it, and go through life asleep, unaware that so many of our life choices and decisions are made by our shadow self.

"It's not your fault", "It's not you, it's your programming." - Lisa A Romano, Breakthrough Life Coach Inc.
One summer when I had just turned 14, I met Major John Fenwick, a wealthy, exquisitely dressed and charming 96-year old who lived a lonely but luxurious life.
I was naive then. Now that I recall the events of that summer in London, during a school holiday, I thank the universe that I acted on my intuition.
But I'm also grateful for that brief friendship. John gave me so much that changed the course of my life. He gave me Ella Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Roald Dahl, Jane Austen, Dickens and the Bronté sisters. He had inadvertently planted a seek in my heart that for a long time remained dormant. Until one day when I was ready, it bloomed. This story is an excerpt from my book "A backpack and a bit of luck". To get a copy, please click on the link to my website and contact me!

Are you tired of being taken advantage of, or being coerced to say "Yes" when you don't want to? Have you had enough of agreeing out of obligation or pressure from others, or guilt-tripped into doing something you don't feel comfortable with? Have you been in a situation where someone violated your personal or emotional space, and felt too awkward to assert yourself in saying "No"? And what about your priorities? Have you had to repeatedly shift your priorities to please others? Do you still feel guilty for saying "No"?

According to mental health professionals, dark empaths are the most dangerous personality type. While psychopaths are physically dangerous, dark empaths are more emotionally damaging. The most interesting thing about dark empaths is that they do have a conscience. They just choose ignore it.
Here are some of the traits of a dark empath:
They appear to be true empaths.
They’re highly intuitive.
They are charming and agreeable.
They fake sincerity very well.
They appear to share your values, and like the same interests.
They’re extremely perceptive.
They’re great listeners and they never judge you, in front of you, that is.
They are emotionally detached.

Have you been told to be grateful, or to forgive, by someone who doesn't even know what you're going through? It's not something you switch on just like that. You have to go through the Elizabeth Kubler-Ross stages of grief first - denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Gratitude and forgiveness come naturally to you as a result of your own healing. So don't force yourself to be grateful or to forgive. That will slow down your healing.
Real and sustainable gratitude and forgiveness come from these efforts:
Don't give up on yourself.
Surrender to your higher self.
Train the ego to work with your higher self.
Don't compare yourself to the less fortunate.
Allow the universe, God, or source energy to help you.

The pattern of dumping sadness, anger, shame, stress and trauma onto children and pets is thousands of years old. Sometimes it's done deliberately to a scapegoat, and sometimes it's on a subconscious level. Generational curse breakers are the ones with courage, compassion and integrity. You don't have to look outside of yourself to fix people or control circumstances. You heal yourself. That's what breaks the generational curse.

Have you given people, or someone close to you, the benefit of the doubt over and over? Have you heard them apologize just as many times? And nothing changes? I want to give you a tip on how to deal with this. First, identify if the apology is even genuine to start with. If it isn't, stop giving them another chance. If it's genuine, go to the next step.
How to identify if an apology is genuine:
1. The apology itself (I'm sorry)
2. Acknowledgment (What I did was wrong)
3. Action (What can I do to make things better?)
Now, we can start talking.
If it doesn't come in these 3 parts, stop giving them the benefit of the doubt. They know exactly what they're doing, and they're taking advantage of you.

The ego. But your ego is not an enemy. It's not bad. It just needs to be re-educated, and it'll become your best ally. Here, I talk about how to understand your ego and persuade it to take a step back so your higher self can emerge. Don't kill the ego. You just need to tame it. Spiritual awakening is smoother when your ego works with your higher self.
The ego was strengthened in childhood through 2 main causes:
1. excessive praise and malignant "love" in childhood.
2. childhood trauma and abuse.
Many of us are in pain due to childhood traumas. These traumas strengthened our egos because the ego’s job is to protect us. As children, we couldn’t defend ourselves or physically fight back. So the ego acts like a body guard that keeps count of all the abuse we suffered, and promised us that it’ll try harder to protect us. The more harm that came to you as a child, the stronger your ego will become.
As we grow up, and we’re not in danger anymore, the ego continues to strengthen itself out of habit. And we’re unaware of this happening. That’s
Common characteristics of the ego:
Control of people.
Excessive need to control outcomes.
Putting up a facade.
Need to be liked.
Taking everything personally.
Easily wounded by people's opinions of us.
Caring what others think of us.
Need to be right.
