Mayor Karen Bass announced a plan Friday to provide direct cash assistance to people who have been affected by the Trump administration’s sweeping immigration raids.

The aid will be distributed using cash cards with a “couple hundred” dollars on them.

The White House rolled a map of the U.S. showing the savings Americans can expect under the One Big, Beautiful Bill Act on a state-by-state basis.

Trump signed the massive piece of legislation into law on the Fourth of July and on Tuesday, the White House published an interactive map of the 50 states that provides breakdowns of how much Americans can expect to save.

California residents can expect a real wage increase of $4,900 to $8,800 and a real take-home pay increase of $8,500 to $12,500 for a typical family with two kids, according to the map.

President Donald Trump launched a attack on Sen. Adam Schiff, amplifying 2024 claims that Schiff committed mortgage fraud by lying about his primary, which the senator denies.

Trump, labeled Schiff a "scam artist" and claimed he obtained a mortgage for a residence in Maryland in 2009 but only designated it as a second home in 2020 as part of a ruse to snag better rates and terms from the company. The president said Fannie Mae's Financial Crimes Division had uncovered the alleged fraud. Schiff obtained the Maryland property in 2009 while he was a congressman and became a senator in January. Schiff called the accusations "baseless."

Backstreet Boys' Brian Littrell thinks the Beach is His Private Property!

Backstreet Boys singer Brian Littrell has filed a lawsuit against a Florida county, accusing the sheriff’s department of refusing to keep trespassers off of his private beach.

Littrell said that to protect the "peaceful enjoyment" of his property in Walton County, Florida, on the Gulf Coast, his limited liability company, BLB Beach Hut LLC, has put up "no trespassing" signs as well as tables, chairs and umbrellas showing where the property line starts on the beach, according to the lawsuit obtained by Fox News Digital and filed in a Florida court recently.

He wrote that the efforts have been "in vain, as numerous trespassers have set out to antagonize, bully and harass the Littrell family by regularly, every day, trespassing on BLB’s beach, on the Subject Property, in open defiance of the law."

The lawsuit seeks a writ of mandamus to require the sheriff’s department to keep the alleged trespassers off of his beach.

This is not a court of law whereas the person in question is under judicial jurisdiction, it is a investigation whether the allegations are true the nature of the subject in question

The 5th amendment basically protects individuals from being compelled to be a witness against themselves in a “criminal” case, and it also provides protection against double jeopardy and just compensation when private property is taken for public use.

Don Lemon's lawsuit against Elon Musk

San Francisco Superior Court Judge Harold E. Kahn ruled that Lemon can proceed with his lawsuit against Musk after the billionaire X owner unsuccessfully tried to get the case venue moved to Texas late last year.

Lemon first filed his lawsuit against Musk last August, alleging that the X owner breached their contract and failed to pay him after canceling the journalist’s show and partnership with the platform. This happened following an interview the two had last year that angered Musk, who called the sit-down "invasive and charged."

"Elon Musk has canceled the partnership I had with X, which they announced as part of their public commitment to amplifying more diverse voices on their platform. He informed me of his decision hours after an interview I conducted with him on Friday," Lemon wrote on X in March 2024.

McDonald's fan-favorite snack wrap returns this week

The return of the McDonald's snack wrap is right around the corner. The fan-favorite, which was discontinued nationwide about nine years ago, will stage its comeback on the fast-food giant's U.S. menus on Thursday.

The snack wrap's reintroduction has been highly-anticipated among many McDonald's customers after the company early last month officially revealed July 10 as the date it would make its reappearance.

When it re-launches on Thursday, McDonald’s said it will make the snack wrap with one of its McCrispy Strips. It will also have shredded lettuce and cheese within the tortilla.

In 2020, amid nationwide Black Lives Matter protests following the death of George Floyd, Mamdani publicly referred to the New York Police Department as "wicked and corrupt," calling for its defunding and dismantlement.

In one Dec. 2020 viral tweet, he declared, "There is no negotiating with an institution this wicked & corrupt. Defund it. Dismantle it. End the cycle of violence."

Fraternal Order of Police National Vice President Joe Gamaldi told Fox News Digital that Mamdani’s past rhetoric is emblematic of a dangerously radical ideology.

"Anyone who still supports defunding the police is completely insane," Gamaldi said. "Especially after seeing the horrific consequences on our urban communities. It brought on rampant crime and disorder, historic murder rates in over a dozen cities and destroyed the quality of life for millions."

How does the 'big, beautiful bill' help middle-class taxpayers?

The bill codified the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017.

The bill also increases the Standard deduction by $750 for individuals, $1,500 for married couples, and $1,125 for a head of household.

Tipped workers would be able to deduct up to $25,000 in qualified tips.

The bill also creates an above-the-line income deduction for overtime premium payments of up to $12,500 for hourly workers who work overtime.

a deduction of up to $10,000 for a qualified passenger vehicle loan in a taxable year, though the deduction phases out for taxpayers earning over $100,000 (the threshold is $200,000 for joint filers).

provides a $6,000 bonus deduction for taxpayers age 65 and older on top of the standard deduction available to all taxpayers. The $6,000 bonus deduction is temporary and will be in effect through 2028

'Prince of Darkness' Bids Farewell

More than 45,000 people turned out in Birmingham, England, over the weekend to watch legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne appear for a final time with his band Black Sabbath. The 76-year-old Osbourne, who publicly revealed a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2020, spent much of the show performing from a large throne adorned with a bat and skulls.

Considered pioneers of early heavy metal music, Osbourne helped launch Black Sabbath in 1968, releasing eight studio albums as its lead vocalist. Known for outrageous stunts—he infamously once bit off the head of a dead bat (he later said he thought it was fake)—Osbourne was fired from the band over substance abuse issues in 1979. He subsequently launched a successful solo music career, and eventually became a pop culture mainstay with the 2002 debut of the reality show “Meet the Osbournes.
