Full spoiler episode for the books! You do be warned, friends. We waited so long and season two has already come to an end far faster than we could have hoped.  But what a finale!!!! We couldn’t make it all the way through all the things we wanted to talk about so this is only part one.  We certainly have more speculating to do!

Eyes without pity, indeed! We did spoiler free for the first part of the episode,  and then rolled through further speculations fueled by the full book series.  This episode was by far the darkest and perhaps truest to the books story line we have gotten so far and we approve!

Full spoilers for the books abound in this episode.  We can’t be restrained! There are many places in our discussion where we just need that information to figure out where the show may be taking us book readers.  While the episode is peppered with questions, the biggest of them all may just be; are we ever going to get creatures???

Traci declares this her favorite episode so far and Amber has…questions.  You know it’s good when questions are involved.  We throw chronological episode coverage out the window and pull apart our favorite and least favorite parts in a most delightful fashion.

It’s only episode two but it seems clear we have some serious powerhouse acting happening this season.  Ceara Coveney makes a perfect Elayne and Kate Fleetwood is drawing us in with her mesmerizing performances.  For as many changes as have happened, there are still some scenes that feel pulled straight from the book to the screen.  This blend of book and show appeal feels really fun and we are here for it!

Are you all excited? Because we are excited!!!! We agreed that at some point, we threw out the books and just allowed ourselves to be swept away with the new way things were unfolding.  Tiny criticisms here and there but, over all, we are looking at an elevated…everything. Sets, costumes, music, acting, it’s all better than last season and everything we hoped for.

Perrin Aybara's story is a journey of self discovery. As a blacksmith from the Two Rivers, he becomes a warrior and leader. Today we highlight some of his best moments, his Wolfbrother abilities the forging of Mah'alleinir, and his role in many battles. Loyalty, compassion, inner strength, struggles with leadership and grappling with his own nature make him relatable while his unwavering moral compass and dedication to protecting others make him a beloved character in Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time".

As per usual, we alert listeners of spoilers before we get there, and our recordings are opened up to Patreon members for $1. Find out how to join here, and also check out our Discord channel!

The countdown is definitely on and Amazon Prime is offering tid-bits to get us geared up for season two.  And it’s working!  Is our trio of gals, Egwene, Nynewve, and Elayne, about to step into the Ways, and if so, what will draw them there?  Who will be their guide? Is this a place where the story lines from book to show can take off in a completely new direction? Perrin is the definition of fierce, blood splattered and yellow eyes ablaze; is the Way of the Leaf forever behind him? Will Mat ever find his way into something other than his threadbare duds? No Heroes of the Horn as of yet, but do we dare offer the idea of Heroes of the Hooves? Of course we do!

We have opened our weekly recordings to a live chat on Discord with our Patrons.  This is for all our patrons, starting at $1 a month, and we just uploaded new merch perks as well. Patreon link below 💗
