Some are most likely hoaxes but others, well there's possibility they could be real given that a lot of earlier known cryptids like the duck billed platypus, and the gorilla actually ended up being real!

On 4th October 1967 the residents of Shag Harbour observed multiple lights rapidly moving through the sky. One object either crashed or landed intentionally on the surface of the ocean before submerging itself beneath the waves. The objects were visually observed and picked up on multiple radar systems.
