Its a San Diego IPA that goes all in, hence the name "Hesher."  

Browns aren't the most popular style of beer.  So, to brew one you need to be very passionate about the style and very good a brewing it.  Hodad's has both!  Brewing an American Brown Ale that is more dry then it's sweeter nut-brown counterparts.  Throwback Brown is a perfect malty offering that pairs out of this world good with food.

A perfect Tuesday for a Baja Style lager.  There are a lot of Mexican Style Lagers in San Diego these days, Hodad's takes their inspirations from that Baja attitude.

Letdown. honed his craft during the pandemic and created an album that is very much a audio diary of his pains and struggles.  While he's in town playing the Casbah tonight we sat down to catch up over beverages.

Hodad's, known for amazing food also has their own award winning brewery right in the heart of Kearny Mesa.  This week the Hodad's crew joins us in the studio to showcase their brews starting with a nice easy Blonde Ale.

Cinco Party!  We end the week with something special, a very buzzworthy taco Senor Grubby's is only pulling out for Cinco De Mayo and we're paring it along with the Mexican Style Lager that they collabed on with South O Brewing.

Nite Cap - Time to slow things down a little.  When you need to wind down from a crazy Cinco De Mayo, grab a glass of local CalFino tequila and the freshly prepared Senor Grubby's Ceviche...then all you need to do is enjoy.

Dinner - Cinco De Mayo dinner requires a cocktail and that HAS to be a margarita!  Senor Grubby's Cadillac margarita is a handmade masterpiece that starts with fresh squeeze juices and local tequila from Calfino.  Pair that up with a signature Al Pastor torta and you'll want to make sure that you've got someone to share this with.

Lunch Time!  Senor Grubby's loves our Padres so every year for the baseball season they roll out Pad Dogs inspired by our favorite players.  Today we've got the Joe Musgrove inspired Cali Kid (think California burrito on a TJ hot dog) paired with a Press IPA from DogLeg Brewing.
