It is Holy Week and the 2nd Week of my first ever Easter shows.

We just had Palm Sunday and are now just days away from, and as close as the show gets to Easter Sunday.

For Rockollections, it's the Year of Sunday!

I thought it would be a good time for a Musical Look at Faith, Hope and Love.

And one other cool thing later!

How can I go wrong with those Virtues?

I sat down to do a show and as happens occasionally, I changed my mind.The result, the First EVER Easter shows!But what could I PLAY for Easter?Some of the fun for me when I get a hasty impulse for a show is the scurrying around digging out songs- their number grows larger as I grow into the topic.Oddly, Passover is usually around the same time as Easter.I would have included it, but it is next month!Join me for a non-preachy Musical visit to this Most Spiritual Time Of Year!Hey you know me, we'll have a good time!

.It's St. Patrick's Day, and it is also my Irish friend Dave's Birthday.Continuing with my Roots Music, songs I used to get loaded to, hammered, but NO more.It's been many years since I quit drinking, and I don't miss it a bit.Some of these songs I remember as being more Rocking In The Pubs than they are on Record!But do enjoy the Music, I even have a couple of Ex-Beatles in here!Happy St. Patrick's Day Everybody!

Green is the Color Of The Day!This is a Show for St. Patrick's Day March 17th, and over the years I've only played a song or two to acknowledge it.This year will be different.For the first time, I will do a whole show dedicated to St. Patrick's Day.And don't be so skeptical, I'll have Artists and Songs you know or have heard of!This is Roots Music for me, so join me as I Sham-ROCK!Ouch...sorry for that, lol!

This is it, I am going to wrap it up with the Trios.At least for now- there were many Leftovers, and I'd like to revisit some of the Groups I did not play.So it would seem a Sequel is called for at some future date.There are Bands in here that can really create a sound and knew very well how to make our Music!This short Series was a lot of fun for me.I can only hope you feel the same way, and that I brought back some nice Memories for you!

More Trios, and some songs not on today's Radio Computerized Playlists.This Chapter is mostly 60's, but with dips into the 50's and 70's.Included, a Band that shocked me by how full and loud a sound they had.Remember, the Beatles were 4 guys and the Rolling Stones were 5!And another that seemed to revel in having lost members, proudly proclaiming they were now a Trio.Plus Musicians who got together after being in other Bands prior, Brothers, and Artful Alliterations.Just asking, would you like some Cream in your Sweet Wine?I mean, while you listen, lol!

Prompted by March 3rd, or 03/03, I'll continue with Trios.Remember the Girl Groups of the early 60's?I'll have a couple that immediately come to mind.And a Band that was a Trio that became Bigger, as well as one that was Bigger and became a Trio- not all that unusual in Rock & Roll.To close this Episode, a Song for the Spiritual Side of this time of year.This will be continued next week!Hope you don't mind.Ah, I do what I do, play what I play, lol!
