A return Doctor Visit was called for, I am not satisfied with our treatment yet.A few people asked me if I would include Witch Doctors.Sure why not?And a major Medical Discovery- Apples aren’t the only thing that can Keep Doctors Away!But can’t keep Sexually Transmitted Diseases Away!I recorded this first half hour on a Saturday morning, and I remember thinking, “Man, if I listen to this tomorrow, will I think I was delirious doing it?”Still feel that way, it’s...uh...peculiar, lol!Let’s see how this Chapter goes.

As the 4th Of July fast approaches, I'll go off on a mini-rant on Patriotism.What the hell happened to it?This country has done more good in the world than any other, and continues to do so.It's not taught in the schools anymore, but our History has never been easier to get.All you need to do is seek it out!As is sometimes the case, I didn't have time to do the show all in one shot- I did the second half the day after the first.This being Free-Form Radio, since it was a new day, I was in a new mood, and both the Music and I will reflect that.In fact, my snarly attitude may provide a revealing side of me and an entertaining Chapter, lol!Happy 4th Of July!And Happy Birthday America!

We are just a few days away from Independence Day...or the 4th Of July for those who haven't connected them!Alright, enough of that- I'll save my rowdy ways for Part Two, in this here Part One I am nice.I have mentioned before that Engineer Ken Stanley and I were always reluctant to play very LONG Songs when I used to go to the station.The suits left us alone, but we didn't want to draw attention to ourselves.Now I am alone picking the Music at home.So in BOTH halves expect to hear a lengthy track.As always, I try to present these Rockollections shows with a slightly different look at things.Hopefully, that works out to a surprise or two for you.Tell you one thing, that Long Cut in here is very appropriate, and used to get a LOT of airplay back in the Free-Form FM Radio days.Enjoy!

For some reason during the break July popped into my head, specifically July 14th, Bastille Day- a big deal in France and for the French Revolution in 1789.I was kinda proud to quickly think of a song to play commemorating it.After that, an Academy Award Winner, a song by Lighthouse that I will always be of the opinion should have been a big hit, and still can't understand why it wasn't.Then a Set of songs that deals with a painful situation most of us go through at some point in life- and three slightly different ways of handling it.These 3 Folk/Rockers were Life-Changing songs for me- I heard them at just the right, impressionable age.Therefore that's why they make the cut for my Favorites and Guilty Pleasures.Do enjoy!

It's Volume 3 where I'll play some Favorites and Guilty Pleasures of mine- my little contribution to songs you've heard or should have heard.Unusual for me, I knew before I sat down what the first four songs I'd play would be, and I'll give verbal clues to three of them.Also included, a very early Fleetwood Mac single, both sides- and they couldn't be more different.People seem to like these shows.I'd be a fool if I didn't hope that continues, lol!

It's For The Birds, and I'll begin this Chapter with 3 Songs that are unconnected yet seem to Segue nicely into each other.Then it's time for a Point/Counterpoint, I haven't done one in a while- this one regarding the Subject of Pigeons!Oh, and the Point/Counterpoint will come from two unexpected sources.I'll have a true story about a Pigeon smacking me in the nose (I have a witness), knowing full well it's a "You had to be there" moment, lol!To close, I have some Music for the Pretty Flamingo.You might think I would have exhausted the supply of good Bird Songs in Our Music by now, but looking at what I have remaining, there will be a Grand Finale coming to close it all out!Do give a listen to this Episode, it's no slouch, you'll not feel cheated!
