  • RAS #530 - The Happy Prince
On it is all about the kids, sort of. Our featured story comes from the pen of Oscar Wilde who was not known for writing children stories. We have the classic short story The Happy Prince and I think it’s pretty good. Also, we have a story from Rodney about Green Eyes, and we present another Our Amazing Stories about the Oxford English Dictionary. If you think that sounds a bit boring I assure you it’s not. A real Scrabble player's dream, but I tell you you’re going to love it. Featured Story - The Happy Prince Our featured story is a classic from the novel The Happy Prince And Other Tales by Oscar Wilde. The first printing of this book was in May 1888. In a town full of suffering poor people, a swallow who was left behind after his flock flew off to Egypt for the winter meets the statue of the late Happy Prince. Our story is The Happy Prince and is a classic reading done by the great David Sweeney-Bear.  Other Stories Include - The Sapphire Theft, Fractured Spirits, Two Big Green Eyes, The Happy Prince, and Our Amazing Stories: The Oxford English Dictionary.
