  • RAS #450 - Unresolved Mysteries
This week on we follow the theme Unresolved Mysteries. We have four listener stories that do not answer the question of why. Twins Mick and Mike send in their encounters with cryptids, Lindsey has an orb story from Yellowstone National Park, and Brenda brings home a ghost. WE feature a classic sci-fi adventure called Nightmare and we end on a story from the cold war called Acoustic Kitty. I think you will enjoy yourself! Featured Story - Nightmare Our featured story this week started out as a poem written by Stephen Vincent Benét called The Revolt of the Machines. It was adapted by George Lefferts for the OTR series X-Minus One and was retitled Nightmare. It first aired on July 21, 1955. • RAS #449 - A Tale Of Two Stories
This week I am taking a bit of a break from the podcast. Not a full “no show” type of thing, but a scaled-back version that I think you will enjoy. One of my favorite classic radio series is Dimension X from 1950-1951. There were only 50 shows created during its run and on this podcast, you will hear two of them.  Featured Story #1 - The Vital Factor The Vital Factor is about the ruthless head of Crowder Industries, who assumes the Herculean task of being the first man in history to achieve space travel. Building the ship proves easy, but to propel it at sufficient speed seems impossible until one-man arrives with an answer... and a heavy price for achieving the stars.  Featured Story #2 - Untitled Story The Untitled Story is a sci-fi and detective story in one. Donald Hasen is hired by the city mayor to obtain an elixir of life from an enigmatic scientist. His investigation reveals a strange conspiracy that could have serious repercussions for the future of humanity Ron’s Amazing Stories Sponsored by: Audible - You can get a free audiobook and a 30 day free trial at   and - Good Treats for your dog to eat. • RAS #448 - Into The Darkness
This time on we take a walk on the dark side. We have three listener stories that include it in form or another. The first one just might be the creepiest story to date. Then we head to Glacier National Park to witness a rip in space and time, and finally, Tammy encounters an entity shrouded in darkness. Jason Dowd is back with the second installment of The Paranormal With Jason. Jason answers listener Camille’s question about timeslips. Do you think you can handle it? About Jason Dowd - From an early age, Jason has loved his art. Over the years he has used various mediums, but none was more profound to him than photography. He finds inspiration wherever he goes because he keeps his eyes open for things that will make the perfect photo. Jason lives in the great state of Florida and has been a part of Ron’s Amazing Stories since the beginning. He first appeared on the podcast in where he introduced us to his book . If that wasn’t enough Jason is our radio producer. He has been putting the podcast out on the radio for the last 5 years! Jason is also the CEO and founder of Gladys Goodies. Then our featured story is a creepy tale from the classic old time radio series Quiet Please.  Featured Story - Tanglefoot Our featured story for this time was just recently added to the list of episodes. I had never heard it before and am excited to share it with you. This story ..is ...well it’s creepy. It is called Tanglefoot and it should have you squirming in your seats. • RAS #443 - Synchronicity
On we have what we like to call an asynchronous show. Hence the title of Synchronicity. What we have are four listener stories which follow the rules of synchronic events. This is followed by a classic science fiction story with seemingly no connection to anything, and we end the program with a very synchronous event in history.  Are you confused?  I AM! Featured Story - The Outerlimit As I said, we have a classic science fiction story for you. It is special in many ways because it was so far ahead of its time in 1950. Our story comes from the series Dimension X and explores the distant future of 1965 and man's first attempts to see what is out there. The story is called The Outerlimit and is a thriller that has all the trimming of today’s news. With all the rockets that Space X is putting up these days is first contact really off the table? The OuterLimit first aired on September 8, 1950.
