  • RAS #441 - Second Sight
On we have three tales sent in by you that follow the theme of Angel Encounters. One of these is heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I couldn't stop with the angels so I created a brand new Johnny Is It True segment that tests your knowledge of the angel phenomenon. Our featured story comes from the pen of from 1963 called Second Sight. This one has a twist that you won’t see coming. We end the show with some viral news from the fourteenth century. Featured Story - Second Sight Our feature story comes from the book titled The Counterfeit Man - More Science Fiction Stories by Alan E. Nourse in 1963. It was brought to my attention by listener Jodi Krangle. Jodi not only told me about this story, but also reads it for us, and she does an incredible job I might add. The story is about a girl struggling with her psychic gift and how she uses it. • RAS #440 - Strange New World
On this time we have an email from Mark, a kid named Zero-G, and a collection of listener’s ghost stories that all have the common thread of fire. We close the show with a classic from the golden age of radio called Strange New World. This tale is reminiscent of a story written by Jules Vern in 1875 called The Mysterious Island. The difference is it has a modern twist and takes place on the Bikini Islands. So press that play button and let’s go! Show Links:  and   Featured Story - Strange New World Our featured story is from the classic radio series Mysterious Traveler. Imagine yourself as a pilot forced to ditch your plane in tropical waters post-WWII. Not just anywhere, but a few miles off the coast of the Bikini Islands. Do you know that place? Well, you will after our story! It is titled Strange New World and first aired on  February 12, 1952. • RAS #439 - The Past, Present, and Future
This time on it is all about the past (where we have been), the present (where we are ), and the future (Stuff coming your way). The Past -  I am a basketball fan and not to brag but I went to my first game with my brother when I was ten years old. One of my favorite players was Brian Grant. Brain played 12 years in the NBA as a power forward and was the heart and soul of the 1997-2000 Portland Trail Blazers. We have my interview with him that I recorded on February 7, 2012. The Present - Stories are our present, but do all stories take part in the here and now. Not always. All of the stories for this show form a theme of sorts. They have time in common. Specifically lost time or lost in time. You will hear three brand new listener’s stories. The Future - Jason Dowd joins me to talk about what has been going on with him, shares a story and we talk about a new segment coming your way in late June or early July. Tune in to find out more and take Jason’s doll challenge.  If you dare. About Jason Dowd - Art is a way of life for Jason. From an early age, he created various forms of artwork using various mediums, but none was as profound to him for his own work than photography. He finds inspiration wherever he goes because he keeps his eyes open for things that will make the perfect embellishment for a photo or looks for the story that inspires him to tell it to the world as only he can. • RAS #436 - Dreams or Something Else
On we have what might be the most epic listener story to date! In fact, we have two stories that could be dreams or they could be something else. The first is a faceless girl who is sent to deliver a message to a woman in Texas. The second comes from Alex in Manchester, England. His story takes place aboard a Scottish train in 1879, but here's the rub, he boarded it in 2005. Also, on the show the classic science fiction tale Into Space. Featured Story - Into Space Our featured story is something you are going to have to listen to from a 1930’s point of view. What we have is a story that comes from the classic science fiction magazine, Astounding Stories. It is titled Into Space and appeared in issue #02, which was published in February 1930. We all know that murder is wrong, but what if you bring back the dead to do the job for you? This is the premise of this one and it is titled The Walking Corpse. It first aired on April 24, 1946. • RAS #434 - Special Episode
Welcome to . I know that I said in the past that there would be no more replays, but this week we have a replay. You see I got to spend a night in the emergency room and that has left me pretty down. The replay I have decided on is probably my favorite show from last year.  It is the 400th episode that features Jim Harold as co-host and we talk about UFOs. Jim and I listen to four amazing tales which include Oh My Orbs, UFO, Close Encounter, and My Seventh Summer (Sent in by my brother!). All stories were sent in by you. In fact, we have nothing but your stories in this one. So, relax and enjoy our 400th episode. Featured Guest - Jim Harold Having begun podcasting on the paranormal in 2005, Jim Harold is among a handful of pioneers of the medium. • RAS #433 - Ask A Foolish Question
On this time we have some amazing stories. We introduce a book about galactic warfare, hear about a spirit guide in Alaska, A girl has an exciting sleep paralysis experience, and Amanda’s grandpa is blue. Our featured story is a sci-fi classic and we end the show with Ali versus Marciano. All of that, and it’s free.  Featured Story - Ask A Foolish Question Our story this week is a mind-bender, unlike anything we have ever had on the show. When I heard it I was left with so many questions that I was left with ...what does it all mean? Man has always wanted to have all of the answers, now he finds a machine that can answer them. But, does he know the right question? The story is titled Ask a Foolish Question and it was written by Robert Sheckley. It first appeared in the pulp mag, Science Fiction Stories in 1953.  Ron’s Amazing Stories Sponsored by: Audible - You can get a free audiobook and a 30 day free trial at   and - Good Treats for your dog to eat.
