Souvenirs, services and stuff to do - not everything at Disneyland is expensive (most things.... but not everything!). If you have kids, you'll definitely want to tune in, because you'll have some happy campers for mere pennies (wink, wink) with some of our souvenir suggestions. "Every adventure requires a first step." -Disney's Alice in Wonderland. We took that first step, followed by nearly 60,000 more over the course of our long weekend at the Disneyland Resort! We competed in our first ever MiceChat Gumball Rally (more on that next week!) and got to enjoy some unseasonably hot southern California weather. (it was about 90 degrees every day we were there!) This trip, we got to stay at the Best Western Stovall's Inn for the first time - spoiler alert, we'd stay again. It was a great budget-friendly option that is within walking distance to Disneyland, and offers a free breakfast. We also learned a few new things about some of the attractions at Disneyland, and we got to enjoy some new experiences and some new, tasty snacks! As moms, we're typically BEHIND the camera, TAKING the pictures. But, sometimes we want to actually be IN the picture, too! This is a great reason to purchase the PhotoPass - and, it includes those super fun attraction photos that are taken on rides like Splash Mountain and Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout. PhotoPass really is worth it, and it's a "souvenir" from your trip that you'll be so grateful to have! Genie, you're free! - Disney's Aladdin In December, Disneyland introduced their new "skip-the-line" system, Genie+. In today's episode, we break it down to help you understand it - how it works, cost, benefits, what ISN'T included (that part is important!).  We also briefly discuss Genie - the virtual assistant that is available to everyone (at no cost) in the Disneyland app. We think this new system has some kinks to be worked out, but we're hopeful it will be awesome once it's been fine tuned! Do we recommend purchasing Genie+? We aren't sure yet - but we want you to be able to make this decision for yourself if you have a Disneyland trip coming up!
