It is our final regular show of 2024 as we look back over the 2024 Cab Direct Championship season, and it was congratulations to Poole Pirates who took everything in front of them as they collected another treble in what was another fantastic season.
They fittingly finished the season with victory over Oxford Cheetahs in the 2nd Leg of the Knockout Cup Final as the curtain finally came down on another scintillating British Speedway season.
We present our awards, as well as trying to pick a combined 1-7 Team of the Season in what has been a highly competitive Championship. We take one final look at the predictions league and announce our overall winner for 2024.
There will be another Christmas Quiz special but we would like to thank everybody who has supported us, followed us and listened to us on a weekly basis as we round out our 3rd season of the podcast. Its great news for all fans as we will be back in February 2025 to start season number 4. All views are our own.

It's the turn of the WSRA National Development League to take centre stage as we review the season, pick our combined 1-7 as well as presenting our end of season awards. Congratulations go to Leicester Lion Cubs as they took the championship, losing only 1 meeting during the 2024 season.
Poole Pirates took a major step towards the Championship KO Cup as they took a resounding victory over Oxford Cheetahs, who were severely hampered by an injury to Scott Nicholls. They will battle it out on Wednesday evening at Poole in the final meeting for 2024.
The first of the 2025 signings started to take place as the Premiership teams announced their rising stars for 2025, whilst there was also further news for Oxford Cheetahs and Berwick Bandits fans.
It was our final Rider of the Week result for 2024, whilst we also continued with the last few predictions of the season as we edge closer to our winter hibernation ahead of a new season in 2025. All views are our own.

This week see's the Rowe Motor Oil Premiership take centre stage as we look back over a 2024 season which saw League success for Belle Vue Aces as well as a KO Cup victory for Sheffield Tigers. It's a chance for the boys to firmly debate who will be receiving the awards as the Round The Boards Premiership 1-7 is revealed.
We also cast our eyes over the SON which took place in Manchester as Great Britain once again reigned supreme to defeat Australia in the final.
It was a big week for Poole Pirates as they landed the Cab Direct Championship in 2024 as they defeated Oxford Cheetahs in the 2nd Leg of their final, and prepare to face each other again this week to see who will lift the KO Cup.
We still have our Rider of the Week poll ongoing, and it was a deserved victory for Luke Killeen, as we nominate more riders for the week just gone. It would appear Rob will be taking the predictions league once again, but there are still more meetings for us to cast our eye over. All of this plus our usual features in another packed show. It's the return of the 3 amigos, the 3 musketeers, Sooty Sweep and Sue, George Zippy and Bungle, even if Rob doesn't know who these people are, but the trio are finally back together to talk speedway.
Its an action packed show as we talk over all the important meetings of the season which see us welcome Brady Kurtz, Anders Thomsen, Dominik Kubera and Max Fricke back into the SGP for 2025 as they all make it through the SGP Challenge from Pardubice.
Belle Vue become the Premiership Champions for the 2nd time in 3 years whilst Oxford build up a big lead to defend in the 2nd leg at Poole in the Championship. Poole do pick up some silverware though as they become BSN Champions for the 2nd season in a row.
Congratulations go to Ace Pijper as he becomes British U19 Champion in a rain affected final. We also look back over the SGP, SGP2, SGP3 and SGP4 in our end of season review whilst talking over the credibility of the SEC Series. It's a return to the podcast for Cain, and Nathan is delighted to have him back as we talk speedway once again on the conclusion of the SGP and SGP2 calendars for 2024.
We rounded proceedings off in Torun as Bartosz Zmarzlik rode to another fantastic victory to claim victory and cap off another fantastic world title, whilst Robert Lambert clung on to the silver medal from a hard charging Freddie Lindgren. In the SGP2 event, it was Mathias Pollestad who claimed victory but it was Wiktor Przyjemski who was crowned the Champion for 2024.
Back in the UK, and the weather has taken a turn for the worse and the season rolls on. Belle Vue Aces have taken a huge step towards their second title in three years, whilst Poole Pirates have one hand on the BSN Trophy they also won in 2023. We look ahead to more drama as the SGP Challenge takes place in Pardubice and the British U19 Final takes place at Oxford.

We return to take a look back over another week of speedway action that saw the conclusion of the European Championship as Andzejs Lebedevs not only secured the title but also regained his SGP place for 2025.
It's playoff time in British Speedway as we look forward to Belle Vue Aces taking on Leicester Lions in the Premiership Grand Final as well as Oxford Cheetahs taking on Poole Pirates in the Championship equivalent. There is also the opening leg of the BSN Series final as Scunthorpe Scorpions taking on Poole Pirates.
We focus on the conclusion of the SGP and SGP2 as the final round hits Torun in Poland, and we finally congratulate Bartosz Zmarzlik on making it World Title number 5. The fight for the sixth and final automatic qualification place will see one of Mikkel Michelsen, Jack Holder or Dominik Kubera securing their spot for 2025.

Nathan and Rob return as they wrap up the action from another frantic week of speedway which included the penultimate round of the SGP in Vojens, Denmark as Bartosz Zmarzlik was crowned Champion of the World for the 5th time, but also we saw Robert Lambert finally clinch his maiden SGP victory.
We also look back over the first semi final of the Premiership Play Offs as Leicester Lions overcame Ipswich Witches to make the final with their opponents to be decided this week. We also look back over how the Championship Play Offs are shaping up with a round up of the results.
Congratulations also go to Josh Pickering who was crowned Championship League Riders Champion at Redcar, in a meeting overshadowed by the call offs prior to the meeting itself.
Its the final round of the SEC in 2024 where Andzejs Lebedevs will be looking to win his first European title and ensure he is back in the SGP for 2025. It's also the British U19 Final from Oxford as the youngsters get a chance to grab their piece of silverware for 2024.
Joining us on the show this week will be Vinnie Foord, as we look ahead to the mentioned British Under 19 Final but also looking back over what has been a break through year for the youngster.

Nathan and Rob return with another action packed edition of the show as we look back over another fantastic week of action across the continent and UK. It was another win closer to title number 5 for Bartosz Zmarzlik as he returned from a horrific crash to regain form and take one step closer to that title.
It was also another step closer for Wiktor Przyjemski as he took an 8 point lead into the final round of SGP2, which reaches its conclusion at the end of September in Torun. Sheffield Tigers gained the first honours of the Premiership season as they took the KO Cup from Ipswich Witches in a resounding performance.
We look ahead to more meetings as the SGP makes it 3 meetings in 3 weeks as we take the trip to Vojens in Denmark for the penultimate round in the series. Our Meetings of the Week include the first Premiership PO Semi Final between Ipswich and Leicester, plus also the CLRC from Redcar.

Its been another week of fantastic speedway action across the globe and the UK, as we finally find out the line-ups for the Premiership Play Offs in 2024.
It was Round 8 of the SGP as we hit Wroclaw, Poland and it was MartinVaculik who propelled himself back into medal contention with a fine win, and both Robert Lambert and Fredrik Lindgren cut the lead of Bartosz Zmarzlik with 3 rounds left to go.
We again looked at the results from the UK, and cast our new votes for the latest edition of Rider of the Week. We also previewed a new week of fixtures, and its a quick turn around as the latest round of the SGP hits Vojens, Denmark and our Meeting of the Week came from Berwick as the last round of the National Development Series commences.
Joining us on the show, we were delighted to welcome Andy Freegard and Charlie Meredith who are part of the group Swindon Needs Speedway aiming to bring back speedway to Swindon. We talk over their focus, as well as the news developing regarding a new plot of land being found.

This week see's Nathan and Rob take another look back over a fantastic week of Speedway action in the UK and on the continent, as the pressure begins to build for those teams looking to attain silverware in 2024.
The SEC Series will come down to a final conclusion in Chorzow, Poland in September but it was Andžejs Lebedevs who put himself in pole position for the title as he topped the scorers from Gustrow, Germany in Round 3 and a chance of automatic qualification for the SGP in 2025.
We also looked back over the action of the week in the UK, as well as casting new nominations for Rider of the Week. There was a look ahead to the next week of Speedway, which includes a return to the SGP Series as it hits Round 8 in Wroclaw, Poland.
Joining us on the show this week is Poole Pirates and Birmingham Brummies racer Zach Cook as he talks us through a busy period ahead with the Pirates, as well as rating how well he has done across both the Championship and Premiership in 2024.
