It was delight for Brady Kurtz as he picked up his first SGP victory in Gorzow over the weekend to keep himself on the coat tails of current World Champion Bartosz Zmarzlik with 4 rounds left to go.

It was a double dose of SGP action this weekend, as we look back over both rounds of the British SGP from Manchester, and it was Dan Bewley and Bartosz Zmarzlik who took the honours, but it was current World Champion Zmarzlik who took an 11 point lead over Brady Kurtz in the race for the World Championship at the halfway stage.

Kai Huckenbeck was the winner of the final SGP Qualifier for 2026 as he booked his place in the Grand Prix Challenge which takes place at Holsted later in the year.

It's been a busy week of Speedway action on the continent, as the weather took its toll on the fixture list in the UK but we look back over the qualifying rounds for the SGP Series for 2026, as well as the final qualifying round for the SGP2 Series of 2025.

The season felt like it was in full swing as we looked back over the 3rd round of the SGP Series and it was Bartosz Zmarzlik who once again took top spot as he reclaimed his position at the top of the pile in 2025 in Prague.

It was also a special weekend for the U16s as Villads Pedersen took gold in the SGP3 event at the same venue.

Qualifying took place for the European Series for 2025 and it was Dimitri Bergé who took victory at Stralsund in Germany to book his place in the series. This also sparked an interesting debate about the venues being shared for qualification meetings on the Continent.

Round The Boards Season 4 Episode 15: SGP2 + 3 Reviews plus SGP Prague Preview

It's another packed show as we take a look back over meetings from the previous week as well as looking ahead to what is coming up in the world of speedway. This week we saw a swing in the world of Speedway as Brady Kurtz took control of the SGP series with a 2nd place finish which saw him leapfrog the current World Champion, Bartosz Zmarzlik, into top spot. It was Jack Holder who took the top step in Warsaw, redemption for 2023 when he was cruelly denied an opening victory.

It was double delight for Sam Hagon as he retained his U21 title at Glasgow in a chaotic finish to the final, which saw Joe Thompson and Luke Harrison take the other steps on the rostrum.
