After putting up a competent series against the Twins, these Royals have utterly bullied the New York Mets into submission, almost putting up two shutouts in a row. ...Oh, and a lot of trades happened --sorry, I just got so excited to talk about the HOTTEST TEAM IN BASEBALL. Also, Bobby Witt Jr. is the greatest player ever and Maikel Garcia will eventually put up the MLB record for most career sac flies. This seems like an oddly specific prediction, just know that I am 100% right about 20% of the time with these things. Scott Barlow died for this.

The trade deadline is technically a month or so away, but no one said the Royals can't make moves early! They take control of the market by dealing one of the biggest pieces available, Aroldis Chapman, to one of the hottest teams at the moment, the Texas Rangers. Is that good? Is the return good?
