    This week we see who is the Lord of the Sabbath. As the Pharisees confront Jesus again, trying to catch Him yet again, but He is Jesus and lays it down on what is right on the Sabbath.


    This week I have added the sermon notes that we put out so you can read those as well before you listen or after you listen.

Big Idea: God’s sufficiency does not need man’s insufficiency

    ​What is the sufficiency of man

    1. ​What is the sufficiency of God (Ish 55:8-9; Matt 11:28-30)
    2. 
Application: Examine your relationship with Jesus, is it one of seeking His favor through your

    actions, or one of grace and mercy?

    That’s it, read through the scripture in the outline and see where you land. If you have

    see what the Bible says together.

  • Fasting, Patches and Wineskin (Mark 2:18-22)

    We are still at Matthew’s house for dinner with the Tax Collectors and Sinners, Scribes and Pharisee’s and John’s disciples are there too. Questions of why Jesus’s disciples don’t do some of the other things that the other party goers are doing.

    Jesus speaks to not being able to put the new wine into an old wineskin. It can’t hold it without breaking and ruining both.

The primary purpose is to get the word of God out to you the listener. We know that our world is a sinful place, and there is only one answer to over come that, it's Jesus.
