Asti White grew up in Atlanta and even as a part of the Atlanta running community. He has seen it from many different angles. Now, as an adult, he sees how much the community can not only offer to him, and what he can offer back. He has focused his time on building friendships and relationships, and learning more to unloack not just what it looks like to run in Atlanta but using his knowledge to see what it is like to live in the ATL as well.
His community connections led him to want to try out the marathon at the Detroit Free Press Marathon, and it was an impactful time in his life. He talks about the continued support he is giving to the community, and how he sees this “web of grace” as a place that good in the world can come from.

Joining the podcast from Run Boulder AC, Adam brings a perspective of what it is like to live in one of the most popular running destinations in the United States. However, not even the competitiveness of where he lives, nor being a member of Team USA, has taken from his desire to be a positive and supportive beacon in the Boulder community.
Adam’s optimism helps to show that it doesn’t matter what your speed is or even how far you can run. What matters is that you are out there doing the dang thing. Adam loves to support, encourage, and reflect the humble spirit in his running community, as he seeks to help others grow while he does the same.
Another great conversation you won’t want to skip!

Sermon for November 3, 2024:
"God Trusted Me With It"
Week 2 of Sermon Series: Transformed by Grace
Scripture Focus: Matthew 25:14-30 – The Parable of the Talents
Key Themes:
- Redefining Stewardship: It’s not just about money. Stewardship includes using our time, talents, and resources faithfully.
- The Love of Money: Scripture warns us not that money itself is evil, but that an excessive love for money can pull us away from God’s purpose for our lives.
- The Parable of the Talents: Jesus’ story invites us to use our gifts with courage and trust, not bury them out of fear.
- Gifts as Blessings, Not Burdens: God calls us to share our resources with joy, knowing that every gift we have can be a tool for blessing and growth.
Join in this episode by Erin Kunst. Who just completed the Maine MDI marathon, and talks about her humble beginings in the communal aspect of running. In what has not been the easiest year, she reflects back on how much the running community around her has given to her, and everything she has also dedicated to it.
An episode that explores the preconceived notions about the run community from the front of the pack, and why she says "community is not yours, It's the community's!"
