Natalie Hall is one of the most positive runners you could ever hope to meet, always smiling and just so happy to be out there doing it!
She talks through how she fell in love with running from the first step, to booking her first 10k two weeks later and then getting a load of PBs just before finding a lump in her breast.
Her first question to the doctor when she got the breast cancer diagnosis was, “Do you think I’ll still be able to do the marathon?”.
It’s beautiful to hear her recount how the running community has been such a big part of her life, and how she describes running with friends as “a big hug”. It just shows how much more running can be than simply exercise or pushing your limits.
Another gem is when she talks about how running is like setting up a little health pension - there for you when you need it, getting you skilled up for any obstacles that might come up.
Have a listen for some really lovely reasons to run 💖
