In this episode, Tina talks about how she began "simpilfying" her home and her life 2 years ago and how she is never going back. She talks about how using her "Easy Three" rule when cleaning helps her keep clutter to a minimum which inevitably gives her WAY more time. What are the easy three? 1. Throw Away, 2. Give Away, 3. Put Away. When you're done simplifying your physical things, take a moment to audit your ACTUAL time. Take note of where you are spending extra moments of time throughout the day AND what you are committing too that is also taking up your valuable time. Tina talks about how we need to continually audit our things and our time to ensure we are moving ourselves in the direction we want to move to be the people we ultimately want to become in order to live the lives we really dream about. Take a listen.
On Today's episode, Tina talks about the struggle she's having with picking her Fall Goals when she is still feeling tired from her Spring Goals. She shares her next BIG goal that scares the heck out of her and WHY it's so important for her to go for it and Finally, Tina talks about how she had a terrible relationship with her body in college and how Running changed all of that for her. In today's episode, Tina dives in to the research that she has done on all of the good things that running gives to your body. She always talks about how running makes you stronger, happier, and healthier, but let's get into a few specifics! Our bodies are powerful machines and running truly fine tunes our machines so that we can live a fuller, happier and LONGER life! How cool is that. This episode doesn't stop with the physical benefits of running, Tina dives into the mental benefits of running as well. If you're not a runner yet, well... after this episode, you might be!
Today, Tina talks about why being a C- student is something you should strive for. Being the best has it's downfalls... in fact, when you are used to being the best at something, you soon become afraid to take risks for fear of losing your position as "the best." What if instead, we reframed our running and our lives to reflect C- work and stopped ourselves from getting caught in the "analysis paralysis" of how to do things perfectly. Moving FORWARD is the best way to grow in any area and striving to be the best is a quick way to feel like a failure and quit. Tina talks about how to instead, you should aim for "Pretty Good" in running and in life.
Join Tina while she dives into the magic behind the success of her runners. Spoiler Alert: IT IS NOT PHYSICAL. This is a mental game and without the mental and emotional work to back it up, most brand new runners will quit. It's sad, but so, so true! Listen while Tina shares what she's learned from training her sisters as they were super open with her about their limiting beliefs and emotional struggles on their journeys to become brand new runners. Finally, Tina tells you why you should never "re-do" a week of training or "move back" on a training plan when you are working towards a goal. All of this and so much more - take a listen!
Tina has SO many runners who are about to reach a goal that they have been working towards for MONTHS. Some of her runners will be running their first 5ks, some will be running their first 8ks, and many will be doing their first EVER Half Marathon! BUT the inevitable question that will come up, especially after the Half Marathon, is "What should I do next?" Join Tina while she answers that question and explains how to continue training so that running can be a part of your life beyond one training cycle. She talks about the flow of running and how to take care of your body so that it will continue to run for you throughout the entire year. This is a time for CELEBRATION and while there is always a little "let down," In this episode, Tina will teach you how to reframe it and recognize why you shouldn't feel like that journey is "over." There is so much to celebrate and to think about when it comes to meeting your goal. Get yourself mentally prepped for when you meet your next goal - press play!

Want to meditate, journal, eat healthier, read more, get 8 hours of sleep? Why not start with small steps - just like we do in our program - in order to make those habits that we can stick with! Tina would LOVE to have your feedback on how YOU plan on implementing this strategy in your own life. You can connect with Tina on Instagram @RunWithTinaRepa or Facebook @TinaRepaRunning. Enjoy!
