The post EP36: What is Dating Yourself? appeared first on Veronica Grant.
The question I get asked a lot is “What is Dating Yourself”?
Let me tell you what it isn’t. It’s not about staying single or learning how to be okay with being alone.
I’m also not another person telling you how to ‘get’ the guy, I want to be really clear:
You aren’t broken.
There’s nothing wrong with you.
You aren’t fundamentally flawed in some way, and,
You certainly aren’t destined to be single forever.
Dating Yourself is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself and for your relationship (future or current).
In just a few days, I'm starting my Date Yourself Challenge + I want you to sign up now by heading over to veronica grant.com/dateyourselfchallenge. When you sign up you'll get one simple date to have with yourself every day for 10 days (aka 10 ways!) that'll help you to simplify + uncomplicate dating.
When you Date Yourself:
– You can finally stop thinking something is wrong with YOU when a date goes bad
– You'll attract men you’re interested in + feel safe to be vulnerable with
– Learn to see each date as a potential opportunity rather than something to stress out about, and be OK with any outcome of the date
– You stop dating the same emotionally unavailable men over + over, and see a person's true self sooner
– You no longer dread dating or feel anxious by it

Welcome to a special series I’m doing all this week on the podcast, the How We Met series. Each day, I’ve invited some past guests as well as other amazing women to share their story of how they met their life partner.
I hope these stories bring you hope, inspiration, and insight to the different ways these women have met their spouses and partners.
Today is the last episode in the series, and I'm thrilled to share my story of how Stevie and I met, AND how we got engaged. Ennjoooy!

Day 4 features one of my favorite podcast hosts + Date Yourself Radio guest alum, Jessie Artigue. She + her husband cohost another favorite podcast of mine, Marriage is Funny. It’s a funny, thoughtful approach to striving for great love, rather than perfect love. I love the messaging, the candid conversations, and the lessons this hilarious couple learns through their own marriage journey. No matter your relationship status, this podcast is entertaining + inspiring to all. Be sure you also listen to our conversation in episode 19 about striving for great love, rather than perfect love.

I’m really excited about today’s guest, because I actually know her quite well. Her name is Hillary Rubin, and she was my life + business coach for almost a year. She changed both my personal life and my business, so it’s really an honor to have her here today.

On Day 2 of the series, I have author, podcaster, and comedian Laura Lane sharing how she met her partner. Laura along with her cohost Angela have the show, This is Why You’re Single. It’s one of my favorite comedy podcasts, and it’s inspired by real life dating adventures and disasters, and they share a new reason every week about why you’re single. I highly recommend checking it out.
