Everyone has that one buddy who loves his team a little too much, but that buddy isn't Robert Di Nero. In Tony Scott's 1996 thriller The Fan,  Di Nero channels some of his past performances as unstable toxic males and overpowers the film in a rare case of the actor's feet being too big for the role's shoes. Although the thrills might not hit the heights of Willie Mays Hayes scoring from second on a bunt, the Running Scared boys review is sure to please as we call in a designated hitter for a little help: Winston McMartin of The Dark Side of Sport podcast. Nothing could go wrong, right? Written and directed by Zach Cregger, Barbarian (2022) is a scary hit that puts the ick back in incest. Can you rent out a torture sex dungeon? It's the film that certaintly doesn't help the reputation of AirBnB.

Considered a turning point in the F13 series, Jason Lives takes Jason from supernatural stalker to re-animated zombie with a penchant for hilarious murder.  Running Scared co-hosts revisit the grassy plains of Jane and Wilson  where Jamie's Scottish grandparents let him watch horror at a young age, and review the 1986 "classic".  We count at least 7 unnecessary deaths. Is this horror-comedy? Or is it horror-slapstick? Is Horshack your best back-up man?  Does Jason's corpse get better looking as it ages? Does Jason kill kids?
