What does a client & Coach relationship look like? The crew delve into what this means to each of them.

Having a Coach is more than just showing up to classes and having someone tell you what to do. A Coach can connect with their clients on an individual level. Someone who can observe when something is off with your training or personality and can help get your mind right.

A Coach is also someone who knows your body and what your limitations are in a particular WOD and when to push you or when to back it off a bit.

A Coach is also someone who knows his or her class and knows what the class needs on a particular day; do they need to laugh? Be more serious? Tough love? In many ways, the Coach wears many hats, and learning what our clients need on a given day is what we strive for.... to make your 1-hour (or more) at the gym, the best part of your day!

The 2019 CFOpen has finished. Those that participated went through 5 weeks of tough workouts for the ultimate test of mental toughness, strength, cardio and gymnastics... CrossFit uses these workouts to find the "Fittest on Earth" and only the top 1% go to the games... But what do these tests mean to us? How can we use each workout to better our own personal performance?

The CFOpen is an awesome competition and will push many to depths and heights they never once saw possible. Undoubtedly, each one of us looks back at 1 workout and says, "I wish I would have...." If this is the case, we can use these as training opportunities; how can we improve, and where to focus.

From WODIFY updates, to the Annual Memorial Day Murph WOD, this episode has you covered!

A few months ago, we introduced the concept of combining our class check in and workout logging systems into 1 app called WODIFY. Through the testing phase with Coaches and using some Ambassador members as guinea pigs, we learned that the system was just not a right fit for us....

We also discuss many of the fun things we have planned for this quarter of the year, which include: Mother's & Father's Day WODs, our Annual Brewers game outing, Memorial Day Murph and a Law Enforcement Fundraiser WOD coming in May.
