It is very easy for us to seek God when making what we consider big decisions and assume him when making small less stressful decisions. In doing this we leave God out of the picture in the small and mundane things of life. Only when they degenerate into problems do we result to prayer. God is the Alpha and Omega who desires to be involved in all areas of our lives. We test God when we only run to him with our big problems while assuming him in our small issues. He must be the Lord of all!

Many are the times when we start projects on our own expecting God to join us on the way. That is being presumptions and it is part of testing God. God will only put his signature where his will is. Do not walk in disobedience and expect God to establish your steps

The scriptures advises us never to test the Lord our God. Testing God means doing something outside his expressed will then expecting him to put his signature in it. It also happens when we use God as a means to an end rather than having him as the end itself. Unfortunately doing this sets us up for failure and results in so much pain. Where are you tempted to put the Lord your God to the test today?

If the devil can get us to doubt God's word concerning our situations, the battle is half way won. The easiest way Satan can steal our inheritance is by getting us to doubt what God has promised.

God has his red lines that we should not cross. When we pretend to care for anything be it our children, business or family more than God does, we cross his red line and we can suffer God's wrath. Doubting God's ability to follow through his promises can put us in danger

The worst part is where we get so used to the pain that we do not see the possibility of our situation changing. That is what happened to Zecharia the priest and the father of John the baptist. He had given up the hope of ever having a child and it was possible to believe the words of the Angel Gabriel. The result was that he missed his voice and could not participate in celebrating the birth process of his own son.

Doubt can cause us to miss out on things we have long waited for God to do only for us to see them happen and we miss out. When an officer of the King of Isreal doubted Elisha's ability to reverse a period of famine in Israel, Elisha told him that because of doubting, He will see it happen but miss on it. What could you be missing out today because you doubted ?

In a world where we want to be in control of almost everything, it is liberating to admit that even with all the effort, there are some things about life that we shall never be able to master. When God asked prophet Ezekiel whether the dry bones representing the future of the children of Israel could come back to life, instead of putting himself in a doubtful situation, Ezekiel told the Lord that only He knows. You can do the same.

Life is easy inside the boats of our lives until the storms of life knock on our doors. That is the time God invites us to join him in the storms out there. A believers safety is not far away from the storms but rather where His Christ is even if its amidst the storms. If you must walk on water, do it. He will take care of the details.

Doubt loves company and if you want to be someone who exercises faith, you must avoid the company of doubters. You will never achieve anything if all you keep hearing is people telling you it's impossible. Jesus had to make sure that all nay sayers and doubters in Jairus house were chased out before He could raise the girl back to life.
