When God forgives us our sins, He is also gracious enough to remind us that we must make good where we have messed. When Hagar, Abraham's maid servant was found by God's Angel in the wilderness due to Sarah's mistreatment, God asked her to go back and submit. Making good what we have messed would ensure that we do not miss out on the blessings that God has for us

Many times when we mess, we can allow guilt to overwhelm us such that we are not able to move on. By doing that, we forget that God not only forgives our sins but also handles the associated messes. Simon Peter could have lived in guilt for severing the ear of the High Priest's servant but he was not only assured of the Lord's forgiveness but also the fact that Jesus had already healed the servant.

God does not give up on us despite the many times that we fail. He who taught his followers to forgive 77 time 7 times is known to be slow to anger and abounding in faithfulness. He forgives when we faithfully go to him in repentance

The scripture reminds us that if we confess our sins God is faithful and just to firgiven us. Just like the Israelites were required to look to the brazen snake for healing from snake bites,our healing comes when we look to Jesus.

Accepting your sin and wrong doing is the beginning point of forgiveness. We must agree with God of our sinfulness if we are to be forgiven

There are moments when you witness God's visitation but not all your questions are answered or problems sorted. The disciples questioned Jesus about restoring the kingdom to Israel but He assured them that irrespective of whatever happened, they will receive power from the Holy Spirit to witness God in the situation.

During moments of preparation,we often get into desperate moments where the devil tempts us to turn stones into bread. When we want to do things out way, we should remember that only those who hold to the end get salvation

Quite often the reward for the good that we do may delay but God is always faithful to ensure that every good that we do gets rewarded no matter how long it takes. God is a debtor to no one.

We must have the staying power to hold on when God appears to delay. Our lamps must always have enough fuel to sustain us when the bridegroom delays in coming to our rescue.

God deals with his children in the same way. He is more interested with our relationship with him than the end results. The way He dealt with the saints of old is the same way He deals with us today. Where are you getting impatient instead of agreeing with God's presence?
