Quite often God may appear to differ our hope when it's almost. Like Ruth waiting for the nearest kinsman Redeemer to give a word before Boaz could intervene, God is an expert in perfecting that which concerns us

How often do we see other people receiving their blessings before we receive ours? People in our prayer groups that we have prayed for and they receive their answer before we get a sign that God will answer ours. Like Jairus witnessing Jesus healing the woman who had the issue of blood, if Jesus committed to healing your situation, be sure He will complete what He has started.

There instances in life where God appears like He is moving goal posts in our lives. This is what the children of Isreal felt in Kadesh Barnea at the borders of the promised land. They were so close yet so far because an act disobedience show their stay in the wilderness prolonged. The good news are that should god confine us for several years in the wilderness, He will in perfect faithfulness protect and preserve us there!

Quite often God's people may appear like stalled projects. This is because God takes time in preparing his own people. You may appear to mark time on the same past as other people zoom past you. A deep assurance that God always finishes what He begins should inspire us to continue trusting him. God always finishes any project He begins even when the odds appear to be against us.

We should never forget that every sowing prepares us for a harvest. When you compare yourself with others who are seemingly doing well without due regard to the source of their wealth, you forget that harvest time is coming and what they sow is what they will reap. There is always time between sowing and reaping as God prepares us for the harvest. Every good did you are sowing today, pay day is coming!

Although our beginning may appear humble, there is no telling how far God can take us. Do not despise small beginnings that God uses to prepare you for a great future

God matures his people step by step. He does not jump any stage because He is careful to prepare you for any stage of life. God made sure that He own Son did not miss any stage of growth. In the same way, the moments you are tempted to think God has forgotten you, He is indeed preparing you for the different stages of life.

It takes time to build foundations and the same things happen when God is preparing us. What we may call periods of forgetfulness is indeed God building foundation to help us when the storms of life will appear. God has not forgotten you, He is preparing foundation.

What do you do when those behind you catch up and overtake you? Those moments when your old school mates or colleagues seem to be doing better than you? There is a God who speeds our recovery when He is done preparing us. Don't compare yourself with anyone, just compare your success with how you are fairing with God's calling over your life

Quite often when God calls us to do something, things might appear difficult and we may wonder whether God is still with us. Like Moses facing opposition in Egypt when God sent him, we need a deep assurance that when God gives us a task even if it becomes difficult, He will surely finish it.
