  • Rep Jeff Hurd (CO-3) explains votes on bills which have drawn scorn from conservatives
Rep. Jeff Hurd (R, CO-3) joins for an extended opening segment with Ryan, detailing item-by-item votes which have set him at odds with his own party on certain bills before the U.S. House.

    Among those discussed:

Vote against censure of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for her comments in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination last September.

Vote to override President Trump's veto on the Arkansas Valley Conduit Act.

Vote to extend subsidies for the Affordable Care Act, which is anything but 'affordable.'

Vote in support of so-called 'kill switches' in vehicles, a Biden-era policy.

Vote against an appropriations amendment which allegedly provided funds for trans surgeries on minors - a barbaric practice which Rep. Hurd says he vehemently opposes.

  • Thumbnail sketch of GOP primary for CO governor; Christian Toto on Groundhog Day, Grammys
Ryan has been asked a lot of questions about the state of the race for governor in the Republican primary and delivers some bullet points on the pluses and minuses of each prominent candidate currently in the running - Victor Marx, Sen. Barb Kirkmeyer (R-23), Rep. Scott Bottoms (R-15), and Teller County Sheriff Jason Mikesell.

Christian Toto, creator of the Hollywood in Toto website/podcast and co-host of 'The Right Side of Hollywood' on Fridays with Deborah Flora and Ryan, joins the program to chronicle his take on an all-time classic - Groundhog Day, along with reaction to political speeches at The Grammys on Sunday night, and Ryan watching Oscar-nominee for Best Picture 'Sinners.'

  • Erica Mallery, Mindful Drinking Coach; Nicki Minaj goes full MAGA with zero Fs
Somewhere between being a teetotaler and the dangers of alcoholism is 'mindful drinking,' responsible consumption of alcohol in moderation. Erica Mallery is a Mindful Drinking Coach and guides Ryan, along with listeners, through a plan toward ditching the shame, feeling amazing, and enjoying your wine while fully showing up in your life.

Erica Mallery | Mindful Drinking Coach

Jelly Roll toes the line politically when asked to comment about ICE deportations at the Grammys, humbling himself before the audience and reporters and defaulting to his story of redemption and faith in Christ. Nicki Minaj has thrown caution to the wind and was live-posting some real bangers on X during the tragically (not) hip awards ceremony last night, ripping self-important celebrities and their hypocritical stances on political issues.

  • Rep Carlos Barron (R-48), fresh off chili cook-off; Sen. Mark Baisley (R-4) on U.S. Senate race
Rep. Carlos Barron (R-48) crossed paths with Ryan in Greeley over the weekend at the Weld County GOP Chili Cook-off, placing a respectable third, and reveals his mom's secret ingredient to his recipe. In addition, Chris Rourke and Ryan ask him questions about the recent start of the current General Assembly session and concerns he has about legislation being proposed by Democrats in the majority.

Sen. Mark Baisley (R-4) joins live in-studio for the final two segments to detail why he chose to move from the governor's race over to the race for U.S. Senate against incumbent Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO). Hick is facing a primary challenge from his left flank in the form of 'Senadora' Julie Gonzalez, which may bode well for Senator Baisley's chances in a general election head-to-head when it comes to allocating fundraising dollars.

  • Groundhog Day and the film's cultural significance; Woke celebs opine on ICE at Grammys
'Groundhog Day' is a classic of American film and has become ubiquitous with experiencing the same day over and over again since it hit theaters in 1993. It's one of Ryan's all-time favorite movies and he details behind-the-scenes friction between director Harold Ramis and the film's star Bill Murray which ended up costing them their friendship until the death of Ramis in 2014. In spite of this, it is registered in the National Film Registry 'for its cultural, historical and aesthetic contributions' and preserved in the Library of Congress.

Of note as well, Punxsatawney Phil did see his shadow on Monday - indicating six more weeks of winter.

Ignoring an admonition and warning from Ricky Gervais in his classic opening monologue hosting the 2020 Golden Globe Awards, celebrities couldn't help themselves from opining on ICE at the Grammys on Sunday night. Ryan highlights how out of touch they continue to be with the American public, and they may be out of time in getting the average viewer to watch such award shows.

  • Right Side of Hollywood: Jonathan Flora fills in for wife Deborah; Bill Maher calls out celebrities
Jonathan Flora does his level best to fill in for his better half, Deborah, along with Christian Toto on this edition of 'The Right Side of Hollywood.'

Examined, at issue, are the growing Trump Derangement Syndrome-afflicted in Hollywood and throughout the entertainment industry, who are suddenly being offset by the likes of neutral Sydney Sweeney and pro-MAGA Nicki Minaj.

Fool of the Week nominees: Stephen Colbert, Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Sunny Hostin, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN).

  • Arresting elected officials like Walz, Frey is a sticky wicket; Dems don't care about illegal alien workers
A 'talkbacker' asks Ryan why the Trump Department of Justice won't arrest Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) and Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey (D) for fomenting an insurrection against ICE and the federal government. The explanation reveals a bit of a slippery slope in setting that precedent in this country.

Ryan details his 'OG' roots in Michigan with two grandparents, one on either of his mother's and father's side of the family, who worked at auto manufacturing plants in metro Detroit (maternal grandmother, Detroit Diesel for General Motors) and Lansing (paternal grandfather for Oldsmobile). In this vein, he describes why those working class, blue collar workers appreciate President Trump - and are appreciated BY him. Yet on an even darker note, the Democratic party which once claimed to care about them is all too willing to cast them aside in order to clear the way for illegal aliens to make cut wages in various industries and trades. Ryan calls it out for what it is.

Priscilla Rahn, middle school teacher in the Denver Public Schools, joins Ryan with her real-time perspective on a potential 'ICE Out' by teachers in the district in protest against Trump administration deportations of criminal illegal aliens. Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero issued a one-minute video for faculty and staff on Thursday night, sympathizing with their convictions but advising them that the schools were the safest place for students every school day.

Priscilla also reminds listeners of her upcoming private school academy, opening later this fall for students K-3 and adding a grade each year thereafter.

  • Trump DOJ arrests Don Lemon for Minnesota church raid; Trump's Hot Takes on Ozempic
The Trump Department of Justice followed through on Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon's promise to seek the arrest of pretend journalist Don Lemon for his role in faciliitating and assisting a group of agitators storming a Minnesota church two weeks ago.

President Trump delivers his take on Ozempic not working for a friend of his, but don't worry - Vice President J.D. Vance assures us it isn't him.

  • Dante White, father of son almost kidnapped by Solomon Galligan, is fighting against HB24-1034
The unintended consequences of HB24-1034 have reached catastrophic proportions, with names like Ephraim Debisa and Joel Lang making statewide and even national news. But perhaps no story was bigger or more concerning than that of Solomon Galligan - a registered sex offender who attempted to kidnap a Black Forest Hills Elementary school student from a playground at recess in broad daylight. Surveillance video footage on the property captured the abduction attempt.

Due to loopholes in 1034 and a shortage of bed capacity in mental health facilities, authorities have no choice but to ultimately release the clearly disturbed Galligan back into the public as soon as he cycles out of custody.

Dante White is the father of the boy who narrowly escaped the clutches of Galligan, and has appeared with Laura Ingraham on Fox News. He joins Ryan, along with Joseph Bowman - whose family was also victimized by an 'incompetent' defendant - live in-studio to update their shared battle against the disastrous competency law through legislative channels.
