I spoke with Torren at the end of 2020 about his struggles with gender, black and white thinking, and Obsessive-Compulsive ideation. A couple weeks ago he reached out to me inquiring if I had heard of psychedelic therapies for these issues, and I only had heard anecdotes. He then shared his libertarian podcast with me and I was amazed at his change of attitude and new-found confidence, so I wanted to have him back on to speak about what he's been through over the last (nearly) two years, in which he founded Don't Tread On Philly in response to the draconian civil rights violations of Philadelphia's pandemic response, and is now running for mayor on the Libertarian ticked.
