Singapore's leading taxi group ComfortDelGro announced it will raise cab fares from March 1, to help cabbies defray higher operating costs resulting from rising fuel prices and inflation.

The adjustment will see a 20-cent increase in flag-down fares across the company's entire fleet of taxis.
