R.E.S.P.E.C.T. find out what it means to me. I remember my girls singing this as they were growing up. I am not sure they understood what Respect even meant at the time, but now they are older they do. It is saying "yes maam" and "yes sir." It is giving others freedom as you have and allowing them to pick and choose what they love without being critical. It is not having to have the last word on everything. It is applying the Golden Rule in Life - "Do unto others and you would have them do unto you." It is putting others needs ahead of your own. It is caring for others. It is being a good person and doing the right thing. Respect is a dying art and we should do our best to preach it and practice it every single day.
