Jared Chavis is an Air Force veteran, 19 years old at the time, described as a person of color at approximately 5”7 and 160 lbs with brown eyes and black hair. Around 10:39 pm the night he went missing, Chavis met up with a friend on the 8800 block of Westheimer Road in Houston Texas. Chavis entered the backseat of the vehicle, a black Ford Fusion. The suspect in this case was driving, and a verbal disagreement occurred. Gunshots were heard, and Chavis was never seen leaving the vehicle. He has not been seen since then. Jared Chavis’ family, Crime Stoppers and Houston Police Dept Missing Persons unit are all needing assistance in identifying the suspect in this case, and requesting the help of the community and the public in finding him. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to 10,000 dollars for information leading to the arrest and/or charging of the suspect in this case. Dennis Rader AKA BTK (Bind, Torture, Kill) was a real fecal sandwich. He led a double life, where he seemed like your average Joe and even was trusted among his family and peers. His dark side did come out and he did have a lust for binding, torturing and killing his victims. He murdered 10 people in a span of 30 years, and almost didn’t get caught.
