Previously: Three years have passed since the grisly events of Season One, and Mockery Manor’s new assistant manager Parker receives an unexpected phone call from Tokyo. JJ has fallen in with a bad crowd and needs help fleeing Japan. Parker arranges for JJ to travel to Germany and begin working at Dunkelschloss, Mockery Manor's sister park in the Black Forest. At the German park, employee Gretchen tries to remain professional while greeting guests, but her colleague Tomasz (dressed as mascot Eurobear) is behaving suspiciously, ultimately sneaking off to meet with a mysterious stranger. Meanwhile, Dunkelschloss's manager Hilda telephones Jenkins, and both are convinced the other is responsible for the disappearance of a large amount of theme park equipment on its way to Mockery Manor. Finally, a hitchhiking JJ is dumped by a lorry driver in the forest near Dunkelschloss. In a hollow tree, she hides something she cannot take with her, but cannot afford to lose. In this episode: JJ begins her shift at Jack's Giant Land, Jenkins gives Parker a difficult mission, and... Bette. Where has she been for the last three years? Mockery Manor is written and directed by Lindsay Sharman. Music, sound design and editing by Laurence Owen. Hayley Evenett was JJ and Bette, Laurence Owen was Parker, Jenkins, the DJ and additional voices, Lindsay Sharman was Hilda and Margot, Alasdair Beckett-King was Chet, Danil the Russian Gangster and additional voices, and Kenzo Kanayama was Genkai For more information about Mockery Manor, and our two other podcasts Madame Magenta and The Ballad of Anne & Mary, visit http://longcatmedia.com/ (longcatmedia.com) Or follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram @MockeryManor and also @LongCatMedia This podcast is supported by our wonderful Ko-fi patrons.
