Luis Salgado got his Broadway debut as a performer and Assistant Choreographer on IN THE HEIGHTS and has since gone on to perform in many shows, including WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN, ROCKY, and ON YOUR FEET. As a director, choreographer, performer, and teacher, Luis is passionately dedicated to his Latin roots. His company, Salgado Productions, is committed to telling original stories of Latin America and making “Art With A Purpose”. Luis’s love for social work led him to the development of R.Evolución Latina, a nonprofit that provides artistic empowerment to underprivileged youths in New York City through free workshops, classes, and seminars. Join Luis as he discusses the challenges of the Latinx community on Broadway and making a difference.
