To Trailer or Not?

The trailer was a game changer for us. Traveling out to Colorado and setting up base camp was incredible. About an hour setting everything up and we were completely shielded from the weather, had a shower, electric with solar, running water for dishes, a complete kitchen setup and a flushable toilet. Yes, it was heavy, but I had decided right off the bat that we would take our time and not push our vehicle too hard. We made it just fine. Since then, multiple trips later, and the wife loves the trailer. It makes everything so much easier. We have added a new Rhino Rack Batwing with zippered walls. We now are waiting on a rooftop tent for it. We have scaled down what we take and what we leave at home, but we still have all the comforts of daily home living at our fingertips. It is amazing for doing long trips.
