Y’all, this episode took me down a deep well. I traversed my own religious trauma, my fear of injuring my kin, and all number of other anxieties. It took a long, long time for me to be able to get here—but, my new friend helped out, quite a bit.
Trigger Warning: This podcast is an interview between Pastor Adam of the Clackamas United Church of Christ and myself. As religious trauma is real, please consider that interpretations of the bible and discussions of the horrors of Christian ideological precepts that work to subjugate and injure people throughout history are part of the topics of this podcast.
That being stated, I want to thank Adam for his honesty, willingness to learn and be open to that trauma, and his offer to all of us to stand for what is right in a world gone mad.
I also want to thank Dar Williams and Bulletproof Artist Management for allowing me to showcase the song: “The Christians and the Pagans.” I am honored.
