This book was a project that took 6 years, and 8 seperate trips overseas to collection information and photograph. He visited 23 of America's military cemeteries overseas, and included 225 photos and 50 biographies in the book.

In out talk we discuss the Michigan connections to his work, and discover an unexpected intersection with a Battle Creek story as well.
