In a remote area of Siberia in June of 1908, there would be a massive explosion. According to most scientists, this explosion was caused by an asteroid that exploded with the power of 250 Hiroshima bombs. This explosion would be spotted around the world and have ripple effects. But at the time, hardly anyone knew it had happened because this area of Siberia was so incredibly remote. It wouldn’t be investigated until years later and scientists still can’t be one hundred percent certain of the cause. This explosion has led to thousands of scientific studies, and fascinating conspiracy theories. This is the story of the Tunguska event.
