I have learned that control and joy are connected. Loosen up that grip of control and let go. You have to let things happen. You have to be able to improvise, overcome and adapt without losing your cool. If you are going to enjoy this lifestyle, you have to come to the realization that you have no idea what you will get into or come across but in a great percentage of those, you have zero control, but that is ok. You can deal with it. You develop knowledge and experience each time, but not only that, you make memories. Joyful memories that will be hits with friends and family around the campfire. Sit there and make the statement with confidence, "I have learned that when you don't have to control everything that is going on, it's ok." I am ok with that because I am doing what I love and life is good.
