Patrick Brigger (https://www.linkedin.com/in/patrick-brigger) obtained his doctorate from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. He then worked as an associate and later Head of Department at the Signal Processing Research Unit of the National Institutes of Health from 1995 to 1998. In 1999, alongside Thomas Bergen, he co-founded getAbstract, now the world’s leading provider of compressed knowledge. In 2005, the duo moved to Miami to develop getAbstract in the U.S. Today, Patrick manages operations from headquarters in Lucerne, Switzerland. Patrick is committed to the education of future generations and serves on the boards of the local schools and is a member of the Executive MBA Advisory Board of Furtwangen University. In his free time, he is a passionate sailor and aviator and enjoys playing tennis with his three sons and dancing with his wife.
