This was the first time I had backpacked in years.  I was nervous.  I had doubts about my ability and doubts about my gear.  This was the day it was put to the test. This was the day I put myself to the test.  I really did not know what to expect...from the others or from myself.  I was covered in fear and anxiety.  But I went out anyways.  I had waited for this moment for years.  This was the day.  Here we go!
