🚩About image:
This is a political map of Colombia in 1824. Obviously, Colombia's boundaries have changed since then. But notice Panama. It is part of Colombia in this map, and would remain so until 1903. Next to Panama is President Teddy Roosevelt, who supported Panamanian rebels to secede from Colombia.
