Two-time Academy Award nominee, Emmy and Golden Globe winner, Laura Dern has touched audiences and critics alike with her moving and heartfelt performances. In addition to her two Oscar nominations, Dern has won four Golden Globe Awards with seven nominations, as well as earned a Primetime Emmy Award and seven Primetime Emmy Award nominations.  On television, Dern was most recently seen as Renata in the second season of HBO’s "Big Little Lies," which aired on HBO this past summer. On the big screen, Dern starred alongside Kristen Stewart in Justin Kelly’s "JT LeRoy" and in Ed Zwick’s "Trial by Fire.” She can now be seen in Noah Baumbach’s “Marriage Story” for Netflix which was released in theaters November 6th, as well as Greta Gerwig’s “Little Women” for Sony Pictures out December 25th.

In 2017 she established Jaywalker Pictures, a Los Angeles-based production company founded with partner Jayme Lemons with emphasis on great storytelling in film and television. They have a first-look TV Deal with Platform One Media, in which they have an hour-long series “Mr. and Mrs. American Pie” in development. In addition to the first-look TV deal with Platform One Media, Jaywalker Pictures will produce “The Dolls” for HBO, a limited series in which Dern is set to star alongside Issa Rae. On the feature side, the projects in development include the films “Candy & Mel” and “The Dog of the South.” Jaywalker Pictures is represented by CAA.

Out of appreciation and respect for the extraordinary gift the Dern family has brought to the big and small screen, The Hollywood Entertainment Museum honored Bruce, Diane and Laura with the Hollywood Legacy Award. In 2010, in celebration of their family legacy in film and television, Dern, her mother, Diane Ladd, and father, Bruce Dern, were awarded with the first ever “Family Star Ceremony” on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In 2016, she was also selected to serve on The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences’ Board of Governors.

Norton made his directorial debut with the film Keeping the Faith, which he also produced. He also served as producer on Down in the Valley, The Painted Veil, Leaves of Grass, Thanks for Sharing and the documentaries By The People: The Election of Barack Obama and My Own Man, a Netflix Original.

He most recently directed, wrote, and starred in the film Motherless Brooklyn which he produced through his company Class 5 Films. It will be released by Warner Bros in 2019.

Jennifer Beals is an internationally renowned actress who has over 90 credits to her name, including critically acclaimed feature films and some of the highest rated television series to date. Beals is currently executive producing and returning as a lead cast member in the revival of her hit original series THE L WORD: GENERATION Q. The highly anticipated series will launch in December 2019 on Showtime. The ground-breaking lesbian-focused drama THE L WORD originally aired for six seasons. For her performance as Bette Porter, Beals received the prestigious GLAAD Golden Gate Award, as well as two NAACP Image Award nominations and a Satellite Award nomination. In 2012, Beals was presented with the Human Rights Campaign’s Ally for Equality Award for her support of the LGBT community. Additionally, Beals and The L Word’s Ilene Chaiken are set to executive produce the Freeform series “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo,” an adaption for Taylor Jenkins Reid’s acclaimed novel.

Maggie Gyllenhaal is one of the great actresses of today. Most recently, Gyllenhaal starred in and produced the film, THE KINDERGARTEN TEACHER, which premiered on Netflix to phenomenal reviews. She also received a 2018 Golden Globe nomination and a 2019 Critics Choice Award Nomination for playing Candy on the HBO drama THE DEUCE which she also produces. She will return as Candy this September for the show’s third and final season.

Gyllenhaal’s career launched in 2002 out of Sundance after she received rave reviews for her starring role opposite James Spader in Lionsgate’s SECRETARY.  She went on to receive a Golden Globe nomination for “Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical”, an Independent Spirit Award nomination for “Best Actress,” a Chicago Film Critics’ Award for “Most Promising Performer,” A Boston Film Critics’ Award for “Best Actress,” a National Board of Review Award for “Breakthrough Performance” and an IFP/ Gotham “Breakthrough Performance” Award.

In 2008, she starred opposite Christian Bale in The Warner Bros. box office hit THE DARK KNIGHT.

In October 2014, Gyllenhaal made her Broadway debut in Tom Stoppard’s THE REAL THING, opposite Ewan McGregor and Cynthia Nixon. Her previous theater credits include Tony Kushner’s HOMEBODY/KABUL, which ran in both Los Angeles and at The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in 2004 and Patrick Marber’s CLOSER.  In 2009 and 2011, Gyllenhaal starred alongside her husband Peter Sarsgaard in THREE SISTERS and UNCLE VANYA, both at Classic Stage Company.

A career retrospective with Eddie Murphy from November 15, 2019. Moderated by Jenelle Riley, Variety.

Eddie Murphy is the most commercially successful African-American actor in the history of the motion picture business, and is one of the industry’s top-five box-office performers overall. Murphy is on the very short list of actors who have starred in multiple $100 million pictures over the past three decades, from Beverly Hills Cop to Daddy Day Care. Murphy can currently be seen portraying the legendary under- ground comic personality Rudy Ray Moore in Dolemite Is My Name from Netflix, and is currently in production on Coming to America 2, the long-anticipated sequel to the 1988 box-office hit. In 2007, Murphy received rave reviews and critical acclaim for his portrayal of James “Thunder” Early in the Dreamworks film Dreamgirls, a performance which would garner him the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture as well as earning him his first Academy Award® nomination in the same category.

Career Q&A with Michael B. Jordan on December 6, 2018. Moderated by Jenelle Riley, Variety.

Actor, producer, CEO and visionary Michael B. Jordan most recently starred in Marvel’s Black Panther for which he received critical acclaim for his role as Erik Killmonger. It marked Jordan’s third feature directed by Ryan Coogler. The film was released by Walt Disney Studios in February 2018 and went on to make over $1.3 billion worldwide. 

In 2015, Jordan starred in MGM and Warner Bros.’ Creed alongside Sylvester Stallone and Tessa Thompson. For his performance directed by Coogler, Jordan garnered numerous accolades including the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture and the NAACP’s Entertainer of the Year Award. Jordan will reprise his role as Adonis Creed and serve as an executive producer in Creed II, which is set to release on November 21, 2018. 

Later this year, Jordan is set to begin production on the upcoming Warner Bros. legal drama Just Mercy, directed by Destin Crettin. Based on the book Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption, Jordan will play Bryan Stevenson, a gifted young lawyer’s defense of the most vulnerable in our country and his fight for equal justice in a flawed legal system. Additionally, he will star in 20th Century Fox’s A Bittersweet Life, an action-thriller remake of the cult classic 2005 Korean film, and will reteam with Coogler in Wrong Answer, which follows the true story of how Atlanta high school educators participated in an intricate, systemic standardized-test cheating scandal in 2013. 

Jordan garnered industry-wide attention for his breakout role in Fruitvale Station, which won the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award at Sundance Film Festival in 2013 among other accolades that year. The film, which marked his first collaboration with Coogler, is an account of Oscar Grant's controversial slaying by police officers on a San Francisco train platform. For his performance as Oscar, Jordan took home the award for Breakthrough Actor at the 2013 National Board of Review Awards, the 2013 Gotham Award for Breakthrough Actor and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Lead Actor. 

In 2016, Jordan launched his own production company, Outlier Society Productions, with a multiyear first-look deal with Skydance Media. Jordan is currently executive producing and will guest star in the sci-fi hour-long series Raising Dion, which has a straight-to-series order from Netflix. Through Outlier Society, Jordan will make his feature film directorial debut and produce the film adaptation of the David Barclay Moore novel, The Stars Beneath Our Feet. He is also slated to executive produce the forthcoming untitled drama series for the Oprah Winfrey Network from Moonlight writer Tarell Alvin McCraney, the animated Skydance project Super Day Care, and the upcoming anime-style 3D series Gen:Lock in which Jordan will also voice the main character Julian Chase. 

His previous film credits include 20th Century Fox’s Fantastic Four, 20th Century Fox’s box office hit Chronicle, Focus Features’ That Awkward Moment and the George Lucas produced film Redtails. Jordan also starred in three of television’s most critically acclaimed shows of all time – HBO’s dramatic hit series The Wire and NBC’s Friday Night Lights and Parenthood. In May 2018, Jordan starred as Guy Montag in the Emmy-nominated HBO Films’ adaptation of Fahrenheit 451. Directed by Ramin Bahrani, Jordan also served as an executive producer.

Career Retrospective with Patricia Clarkson on November 28, 2018.  Moderated by Dave Karger.

Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award-winning actress, Patricia Clarkson takes on roles as varied as the platforms for which she plays them. This multi-faceted approach makes her one of today's most respected actresses.

Clarkson's continuous innovative work in independent film most recently earned her the 2018 British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Sally Potter’s film “The Party.” In 2010 she received rave reviews for her starring role in the award winning romantic drama, “Cairo Time,” which put her career in the American spotlight. She won the Independent Award for Acting Excellence at the 2009 ShoWest Awards. In 2003, her role in “Pieces of April” earned her nominations for an Academy Award, Golden Globe, SAG, Broadcast Film Critics and Independent Spirit awards. The National Board of Review and the National Society of Film Critics named her Best Supporting Actress of the Year for her work in “Pieces of April” and “The Station Agent.” 

Currently, Clarkson can be seen in the independent film drama “Jonathan,” opposite Ansel Elgort and in the sixth and final season of “House of Cards” on Netflix.  

She was most recently seen in Isabel Coixet’s “The Bookshop,” the HBO limited series “Sharp Objects” alongside Amy Adams, based on the novel by Gillian Flynn, directed by Jean-Marc Vallée; in the final installment of the Maze Runner trilogy, and Sally Potter’s film “The Party,” for which she won the 2018 British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. 

2019 will see Clarkson in the detective film “Out of Blue” based on the Martin Amis novel, in which she plays the lead character.  “Out of Blue” Premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in their Platform Series in 2018 and was also seen at the 2018 London Film Festival. She will next film “Light on Broken Glass” in the leading role.

In 2014 she starred alongside Sir Ben Kingsley in “Learning to Drive” directed by Isabel Coixet. The film won runner up honors for the People’s Choice Award at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and was released in August 2015 and opened to critical acclaim. Other recent films include the timely thriller “The East,” opposite Brit Marling and Alexander Skarsgård, the comedy “Friends with Benefits,” in which she co-stars with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis and the Lone Scherfig directed drama, “One Day” with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess. In 2010, she was seen in the box office hit “Easy A.”  

Clarkson and the cast of “Good Night, and Good Luck.” with George Clooney and David Straithairn, received both Screen Actors Guild and Gotham Award nominations for Best Ensemble. “Far From Heaven” won her a New York Film Critics Circle Award for Supporting Actress, “All The Real Girls” won her a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, and “The Safety of Objects” earned her an Acting Prize at the Deauville Film Festival. “The Green Mile” earned Clarkson and cast (including Tom Hanks and James Cromwell) a Screen Actors Guild Best Ensemble Award nomination, and “High Art” earned her an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Supporting Actress.
