May is skin cancer and melanoma awareness month. I am focusing on this awareness series in honor of the past outstanding and inspirational melanoma survivors that have been on the show. I will also introduce new guests to inspire you by sharing their lives and how they have found their strength and others to inform you of the importance of sun protection and what you need to know to stay safe.
I hope you find this series for Skin Cancer and Melanoma Awareness valuable. Anything that can be done to educate and share the importance of sun protection and survivorship is critical. When you are proactive and protect yourself from the beginning, It can be prevented. Skin cancer is bad, melanoma can be deadly. Remember, “It's not just skin cancer”!
