The Cardinals season is over and it’s fairly frustrating. Playing out the string is a hard thing to do and it’s frustrating for Aledmys Diaz for his season to end the way it did. Gaines is reluctant to get in to Blues talk but it’s largely unavoidable at this point. Which players with the same numbers are most alike and different? Both guys named Sam in St. Louis are number 64. There’s never been a guy named Sam who played for the Blues, which is weird. Wrapping up the hour with cuts of our trip out to Troy, IL for youth football this weekend!
St. Louis is now 2nd in STD rate in America. Travis is calling out
America for their STD problem. Some NFL and college football talk.
Travis is ok with Mizzou being a perennial loser. Gaines thinks they
should demand more. Fair or Foul is read a little bit early today.
Some youth football conversation to close out the show.
Comedian and Last Comic Standing Winner, Rod Man drops by with so many great stories. Hilarious conversation with a super talented individual.
Chris joins the guys back in studio on this Thursday morning. Comedy
night at Joey B's tonight. Travis attended a Young Jeezy party last
night? Personalized license plates would you ever get one. Some John
Lackey impressions from the game last night. Some children tv show
talk about Sesame Street and Arthur. Hugh Hefner passed away at the
age of 91. Some Hefner talk to close out the 1st hour.
Another banner day in St. Louis sports as the Cubs clinch on the field at Busch and the Blues lose Robby Fabbri for the season. Gaines and Jeff have a long conversation about injury culture and the drive to play hurt even when that’s not the best move for everyone. Gaines wants to know what Jeff’s favorite food is and is pretty annoyed that he can’t just answer the question straight up. It’s important to bring in famous chefs where possible. Hockey Bob wants to bring in Jaromir Jagr but there are lots of reasons why that may not work out. Comedy Night tonight! Come out to Joey Bs on the Landing!
Hellooooooo final hour. Whitener sits in as Chris takes off for a meeting. Carlie stops by to follow along very closely, Gaines calls her out, Travis does his bs segment to end the show.
Terry Yake joins the program to break down the beginning of the Blues
season. Fabbri's injury, and the effect it will have on the season.
Terry does not think the NHL will be dragged into the national
conversation when it comes to protests. Jeff finally leaves. The Fair
or Foul and morning melee are released. Travis says he's the Andy Reid of dating.
Cards won last night and they’re officially “in it.” They’re in a spot where they need to rebuild but the organization may not be able to truly do that. Which neighborhood best suits everyone on the show? Gaines and Jeff recap the ballparks they’ve been do and agree that Milwaukee is surprisingly good. Travis makes a surprise appearance and the guys talk about the right way to watch a movie. Gaines and Travis are appalled by Jeff’s proclivity for spoilers. The boy band guys from the 90s all came out pretty normal, all things considered. The guys all miss Nickelodeon shows and Gaines doesn’t remember Alex Mack. Travis gets a little in to anthem talk.
