So often we feel plagued and suffocated by time, or the lack thereof. It can feel debilitating. Today, I share an important conversation and perspective around how we can view our time to feel like we have more of it and truly feel the way we want to feel day to day and work towards releasing the feeling of "I don't have enough time."

What does it even mean to let go? There is a vulnerability and a fear that comes up in the release of control. Today I explore what comes up for us in our stillness and what it means to let go in our stress.

As I watch my kids play this summer and observe the parents on the sideline and "on duty", it makes me wonder... when did we stop having fun? How do mothers safely engage in fun and stay on duty at the same time? I'd love to hear your thoughts and curiosity around this topic.

We would never allow or be okay with a relationship in our life where a person put us down, didn't meet our emotional needs or withheld our physical needs. Yet, this is how we treat ourselves more often than I think we even realize.
In today's episode, I share a moment I had realizing how awful I treat myself and how I'm choosing to move forward in hopes that it encourages you to also create a healthy and healed relationship with yourself.

We all know we need to take care of ourselves and we definitely all know what that means and what that is supposed to look like. But often is met with the questions "When?" and "How?". As mothers, we are often 'default' parent and we need to ask over and over again to be able to even go to the bathroom by ourselves. Which then leads to frustration that so many are able to take time for themselves but we need to ask. Or maybe you're faced with the dreaded mom guilt wanting to take time for yourself.
In today's episode, I talk about my theory of why we've gotten to a point that it is so incredibly difficult to get time to take time for ourselves and a few thoughts around how we can actually do this with more ease.

Whether you have kids home for the summer or home all the time, this episode shares several different ways that you can begin to create more definition of space, time and expectations that will allow your energy to feel more sustainable.

Episode 207 | The first in the summer session series: Summer Sessions are the same topics and conversations, but shorter. I will be doing 15 minutes or less in podcast episodes every Monday throughout the summer so that you are able to listen to an episode, and get some wisdom in shorter time throughout the summer months.
Today's conversation is getting real around how much we need to slow down and reclaim some joy this summer. I share ideas, journal tips and ways that you can implement this no matter what your circumstances are.
