  • 225 | Removing Shame and Embarrassment from the Foundation of the Changes We Want to Make

Many of us are prompted to make changes in our life after receiving some type of messaging. Whether it's after seeing how a friend is working out or feeding her kids, or hearing on social media that you're a horrible human if you burn candles in your home or that you're destroying your kids if you let them watch TV, we then will often very quickly try and change what we're doing because we are ashamed and embarrassed. We want to be accepted by others, we want to belong and we feel ostracized by the messaging so we need to change who we are. But changing from shame and embarrassment isn't sustainable. So, what do we do? Let's talk about it in today's episode.

  • 224 | It's INdecision That Creates Fatigue, Not Actually Making Decisions

So many women suffer from decision fatigue. The entire day is making decisions for themselves and others around them, but is that what's actually making them tired? So often, we don't fully choose our decisions, we are simply pushed into a default choice and  THIS is what is making us tired. THIS is what is making us feel unfulfilled and like victims of our circumstances. What if you had full intention inside of every part of your day? How would that shift what your life feels like?

  • 223 | Changing How We Live Based on Fear of Others' Judgements

We clean up our house before someone comes over. We shamefully sit and watch a show when we "should" be putting laundry away. We hang our head low when we grocery shop in the middle of the day because, "what will people think if I'm not a working mom?". We change how we respond to our kids when we're in public. We skip our workout to answer more emails or stay late to get "one more thing done." Why? Probably because of our own limiting beliefs and insecurities but we label it as others' judgements. And god forbid anyone thinks something bad of us? Seriously though, the thought is awful. So, how do we begin to move away form this and live how we WANT to live, free from the fear of judgement and free from our own limiting beliefs?
