Welcome to the Same Business Different Day podcast! This week, we're thrilled to have Roosevelt Williams III as our guest. Roosevelt is a rising star in the business world, with a passion for entrepreneurship. He is a talented public speaker and networker. He has been making waves with his successful business convention held at the San Diego Convention Center this past April, and we were fortunate enough to sit down with him and pick his brain about his keys to success. Despite his young age, he brings a wealth of wisdom and experience to the table that we're excited to share with our listeners. Join us as we dive into Roosevelt's insights on his mental mindset and his keys when it comes to business. As he instructed, it is time to take copious notes!
Reach out to Roosevelt and Young Black & N' Business online or on Instagram or call or text him at (619) 665-3031.

One of the most influential people in the North County San Diego scene blessed the Same Business Different Day podcast audience with his precious time. Each and every story that we get to hear from all of our guests is unique, and that's why we never get tired of hearing new ones. How do you grow from being the neighborhood errand runner into cultivating neighborhoods? How do you turn the disappointment of lost opportunities into creating new opportunities for you and your family? For Gumaro, it starts with relationships. In this episode, we learn about how Gumaro built those relationships, and how he builds trust through sharing as well as smart planning. With all that he has going on, how does he balance business and pleasure. He admits that it isn't easy, but we don't doubt that he will see continued success. What a great story that he has to tell, and we're glad that we were able to capture it!
Reach out to him at Main Street Oceanside, or by email at [email protected]. Or even directly at (619) 519-2027. Contact him to discuss your what's going on in your local Main Street, North County, or at his brick & mortar businesses! Thanks Gumaro!

This week, our host Zeke Corley takes a break from his Same Business Different Day podcast to showcase his spinoff show, Network 1 on 1. You'll find some of the same entrepreneurs that have been interviewed on SBDD as guests here. Our listeners love to hear the stories of how our favorite business owners got to where they are today, but the story doesn't end there. How do many of these entrepreneurs stay engaged and find more business? For many, the answer is networking.
With Network 1 on 1, Zeke plays matchmaker to business owners that he believes could benefit from each other, by sharing information with each other, working together, or becoming referral partners. In this episode, Zeke matches business owners in the fashion industry, all with their unique sense of style. That said, they still have plenty in common, including how difficult it is to navigate their industry. Together they discuss solutions to those issues, but also talk about their inspirations, stylistic choices, and going viral on social media. So much is being shared here. A perfect episode to introduce to our Same Business Different Day audience. Please find the show on YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Podcasts and like and subscribe.
As always, we appreciate the support of the other shows on the A Different Day Radio network, including those featured in this episode: Run It By My Lawyer, Odd Pairing, and Velocity- The Vista Chamber Podcast. And thank you to The Film Hub!
In this episode, host Zeke Corley was thrilled to welcome back the two guests that inspired the Meraki Season of the Same Business Different Day podcast. Mo Cissé & Javan Reyes are back to give us an update on what their company Meraki Allure has been up to, and what keeps them motivated. It was good to catch up with these two, and to hear how much they've grown in the past 15 months! What they have to offer is more than just great fashion, it's a lifestyle. The jewels & gems come non-stop with these two, so all aspiring entrepreneurs & successful business minds alike, should prepare take notes.
Reach out to them at Meraki Allure, or on social media @merakiallure. Reach out to them for your upcoming wedding, film shoot, wardrobe upgrade, or just a simple consultation. And please don't forget to check them out on an upcoming episode of Network 1on1! A big thank you to our sponsors,

We welcome Mike Mellano to the new talk show studio at The Film Hub to discuss his journey. From growing up in the family business to making the decision to join the military. Getting his education was no cake walk either, but he found a way, and is using it to his advantage. Mike eventually rejoined the family business and attempted to get their buy-in with his new idea... but they refused. He scrapped and found a way with hard work, and some luck, to make it happen. Now his business is in line to become the largest of its kind in the county of San Diego! Tune in to learn more about Mike, and how he fulfilled his entrepreneurial vision!
Network 1 On 1 is the newest show on A Different Day Radio (@adifferentdayradio). It’s a social experiment in networking, or net-weaving. Host Zeke Corley runs this show in a unique fashion, from outside of the room. Guests who may know little about each other have an opportunity to meet, and potentially work together after these discussions. Please find Network 1 On 1 (@network1on1) anywhere you consume podcasts, including YouTube. #podcast #entrepreneurship #smallbusiness #networking

In this episode of the Same Business Different Day podcast, Dominic Burtech teaches us how to use a "simplistic" mindset to build greatness. While many entrepreneurs that start with little or nothing ultimately effect their employees with their survival mindset, Dominic has adopted a different approach. His open door/ "let's learn together" policy has afforded him the opportunity to own multiple businesses locally. Although he's working underground at times, he doesn't belong under your radar. He has an enviable familial approach, but he also takes challenges seriously. Those who say that he can't, don't know Dominic. We are glad to have been joined by the unique and thoughtful Dominic Burtech.
This episode was brought to you by A Different Day Radio and its podcasts- Velocity- The Vista Chamber podcast, Run It By My Lawyer, Industry Insights, and the Vista Made Tours podcast. We are also happy to be sponsored by Yourinsuranceplace.com and Star Fox Media. A special thanks goes to our guest co-host and friend of the show, Chris Ryan.
